Hello, I will be attending Mickey's Circus event, it's my first time attending one of these, and I have several PODM pins I want to bring to trade but I'm not sure what is the most comfortable and safest way to bring them. I can't put them in trading bag since they are on cards and they are so big.

What do others do?

Thanks,
Maritza

Okay, so here is what we did...and we are coming from OK.

I went Office Depot and there are these photo holding binder pages. They are Office Depot brand and they hold 3 4x6 photos and a business card. The card and pin fit perfectly in them and you can either keep the pages loose or put them in a binder. 2 of the pins will go prtrait style and 1 will actually have to be landscape but it is the best thing we have found so far.

Hope this helps!! See you there!!!

I second the office supply store photo holding pages - make sure you get the 4 x 6 ones. They will go in sideways but are easier to take out of the binder (get a large 3" binder too!)

def. go with a large 3"ring binder. I am loving the zipper style ones I see at staples, zips shut like a pinbook!! you can do what others suggest, or you can just attatch them, pin and card to some thick card stock paper.

it's a bit bulky, but at Michaels, they sell a case that holds 18 individual little cases that are 4x6 in size, perfect to hold the PODM including card. they are also great because it is added protection for the frames themselves. cost is $39.95 + tax. if you get the 40% coupon with it, it brings the total to around $26.00. greatest thing to keep them in in my opinion. they also sell colored ones that will help protect better against sun/light damage

What section do you find that at Michaels? Went a few weeks to find that but no luck.

Do people bring bags/ carts with wheels? How about something like a Scrapbooking bag with wheels. Or is that too bulky? It sure would be neat to not have to carry everything on shoulders or hands.

I bring a rolling cooler to hold my pins in, you will see some rolling in with several dollys and luggage. I keep all my pins on the felt pages that they sell at disney, then in a 3"case it zipperbinder, including my podm pins, on backers. This protects them from dust and light...I get 4 binders in my cooler.

This year, instead of checking everyones bags at security, which takes forever, they are going to have security dogs sniffing. I was at epcot last week and they were already in use. I was told, no security check just dogs for the event. I will beleive it when it happens.

Oh, thank the Lord!

Yea! I've seen a lot of folks using a large binder with photo pocket sleeves that will hold each card and pin. That's what I would do. Good luck and have fun at your first event.

I saw Goofy_Moe with these too! If you get them today, the Michael's ad has 50% off regular price!
