Wow that's awesome! I'm gonna copy youI had thought about using Christmas string lights so the scenes would show up, but then I didn't like the thought of having a cord hanging down the wall. I didn't know you could get battery powered string lights that were so long! I thought they were a lot smaller! This is great! Thanks so much for posting!
You said you got the lights at Hobby Lobby, right? I'm going to check for them tomorrow...or maybe today!
Looks great, but I'd be concerned about the heat that any light bulbs will give off that could melt the cels. Someone has already posted about a lightbulb (or was it a flashlight?) doing that to their pin.

This is so helpful! Thanks! I will definitely have to do this when I get more PODM's! Maybe one for each movie that they have come out with for year 2! are you collecting year 1 next?
No problemI might try for year 1 if I can get some ok prices lol. I will probably chill for a bit after I finish getting this year's lol.
I love this!! Thank you!! I am going to make a smaller one of these! I only want these 4 PODM pins (rapunzel, mulan, belle, and cinderella) hehe! I already have my boyfriend agreeing to help! Yay!
Haha! Year 1 is going for a lot too! Especially the ones with Snow White in the cell. I know it's gonna be expensive for me for the other ones for Year 2. Only have two different movies so far! lol
I wanted to add that using LED lights also generally eliminates or greatly reduces heat concerns. I don't have them in a pin display, but I have a fish tank with blue LEDs for nighttime and they're never hot. My LED christmas lights also always stay cool versus traditional christmas lights or other bulbs.
