I was always told that open editions/limited release had 'hazy' release dates i.e the latest you should find them was the date specified but each location would put them out when they received them in their shipments.. Limited Editions had the 'hard' release dates where locations would store them until the specified date even if they received them a week earlier... For instance it shows the 2013 pins with a 12/6 release but they've been atleast at MK for over a week now (if not earlier)
