:rant: I see posts all the time "Got my Holy Grail!" " "Pin zapped me my HG!" Like is there a pin fairy going around dropping off people's HG's? Or is there a secret society of pin collectors who feel bad for those who are less fortunate to have a whole collection of everyone's grails & just donates randomly? GRUMPY wants in... I love your use of emoticons - they definitely punctuate your post. The HG's that we have recently obtained were impossible to trade for and they were very elusive and expensive on the evil bay. We stuck it out - persistence pays - and the willingness to throw some dough in the right direction is usually a necessary evil too.

:lol: LOL. If it makes you feel any better, I doubt I'll be getting my top Grail anytime soon, as MANY people have the Jessica dressed as Alice pin as their top Grail. Doesn't mean I'm going to give up though.

hahaha it took me since I began collecting to get my #1 holy holy grail as it cost far to much money which I almost paid on many occasions but I was outbid lol but 1 year and 8 months later I got it for less than it goes for so patience does pay off.

plus the rest of my wants list is basically my grail list now with impossible to trade for pins so I have to be patient for now
 
15 wants? Wow that is a short list. I've been working on it for 6 yrs & it still hasn't paid off. Out side of tax time I doubt I'll see those grails.
 
I paid real money on the evil bay some eyars ago for the sub sorry! In the end if you really want something you do have to go that route one of these I am going to teach myself how to sell there as well!!!

My most wanted list is constantly changing because everyone here is nice enough to say, hey I have that pin would you like to trade? Just be pacient and you'll get ! trade offer. If your lucky you will just get it.
 
It has been a while for me too! But when it does happen, it will be better since it took longer to happen. ;p if that made any sense whatsoever....
 
Grumpy, you really need the tee shirt I just bought my hubby. It's got grumpy on the front and says grumpy all the time. I wish I could afford to send people their grails. But money is very short at our house and I want to join that secret club just like you do. When you find out what you have to do to get in let me know.
 
This won't get you into the "secret society" (haha) but there is a sign up if you want to be included in the random pin zaps. On the trade board, there is a thread for zaps, etc. Just email your info to the moderator bricklayer to be included.....
 
OK Grumpy74, I will admit what no one else is willing to admit. I belong to a very exclusive secret society with no humanly audible name and only two members who can grail zap each other across the room with our pure powers of telepathy. This extraordinary extrasensory perception makes grails just immediately materialize much like Samantha does with Darren’s dinner on Bewitched.


Now you will all forget you have read this post (waving hands in a counter clock wise circular motion)…..and remember it to be nothing more than a corn bread recipe.

You're not alone. I've never received a grail, nor have I got a request to trade for a grail. I have never been zapped either. I guess I don't really have any friends on the forum yet lol
So, don't feel bad.
