Don't get me wrong, as many DPF members know, I have spent more on other pins (mostly PODMs when I was down to the last few)... It looks so much better in the eBay picture than on Pin Pics lol I'm trying to talk myself into the "piece of metal" approach at the momentOh wow! Beautiful pin! This is a tough situation. The answer as to whether to buy first, figure it out later or not kinda depends on the timing and the circumstances. This pin seems to be pretty rare, one person trading and it's an LE 100, I might go ahead and snatch it. It doesn't look like it's one that pops up all that often. If however, your situation isn't the greatest to justify the high price you mentioned, then maybe it's best to take the "it's just a piece of metal" approach. It's not always the most satisfying at first, but in the long run it may end up being the best. Just weigh it out and see how you would feel if you grabbed it. I know sometimes for me the price is just too high to justify no matter how rare the pin is. For others, it may not come down to that. It just depends on you. Good luck, whichever way you decide

A support group would be nice... lol:lol:  Been there, done that, got the t-shirt and am currently standing in line waiting for another one at this moment. I'm in the same boat right now with one of mine and have no idea what to do. I'd really love to take the piece of metal approach myself but we shall see. Maybe we can form a support group for people on the fence about spending too much money on pins, haha
Just did my daily eBay browsing and saw a grail of mine, but it's too expensive for me... I hate that feeling. It's a pin that I thought was so unattainable that it isn't even in my signature.lol
I know many people have been there before, but this is the first time I've actually been bummed out about it myself.
Do you guys ever just "buy first, figure it out later" or do you just wait it out? I'm torn. I have to be a responsible adult and not an irresponsible college student.lol:facepalm:
Oh boy... This day just got a bit better lolCan you resend me your address? We have a surprise for you!

Oh honey I do know that feeling, its a sucky one for sure. All the pins in my signature are my boo hoo hoo poor me wants but the in the link below one was probably my biggest as not only is AWESOME, its my daughter name, how many pin collectors get that kind of double whammy opportunity? When I saw it on the place that shall not be spoken they wanted like $400.00 and I was sooo tempted but then slapped myself and realized that I was putting a kid through college alone and what he could do with that $400.00. You are good boy to not live beyond your means and making the tuff choice.
Good luck sugar, maybe someone will trade one to you!

I know that feeling.... I really want the Tangled marquee but I don't have $800 to $900 for it and it's really frustrating
Good luck with the pin hope you can get it in the near future
