My tour is actually doing to be on my base this and next month. After this tour is over, I deploy. Not sure what my assignment is yet, though! I almost wouldn't mind being told to stay put 😛

Ooh, that means you'll be close to where I work (still about 15 miles away). I was at the BX and commissary last week Friday (friend is married to a guy who's retired military). Still really nice and the commissary totally reminds me of Stater Bros.
