Is my pin defective?
If you purchase a pin directly from Disney, it is by definition an authentic pin and not a scrapper.
But assuming the whole run is not like that, it's probably just a manufacturing error - it happens.
I like it! Zombie Chip :bigthumb:
Yes I purchases those through the Disney store and the quality does not look that good
Haha! Yesss!!! It looked more like Terminator Chip to me. XD
i'll be back....lol
A similar thing happened with my gift jumbo pin from the Mickey's circus event.. The black part of his face is white in my pin..
Sometimes little mistakes just happen.. Makes them unique
I would contact customer service and let them know! Not sure how much you paid for them, but I would bring it to someone's attention!
Nice! So that must be a rare pin! Haha. That particular set had a ton of quality issues, especially the Chip and Dale. Tho, the C & D's I received all had their eyes..lol
OMGosh! XD I cannot imagine how Stitch would look with an upside down nose. XDI just realized a Stitch plush I bought at MCO has a defect, lol
His nose is upside down
xD
If you plan to keep it for yourself and it doesn't bother you then I say keep it. If you think you will want to trade down the road, I'm sure someone will call it out as a scrapper and you may want to return for a new set.
On a DS purchase, I purchased this lanyard set from them:

It was a couple of weeks later when I realized that my lanyard has 2 of the same minnie mouse pins on it and no NBC pin. I just opted to keep it. It doesn't bother me. Does make me wonder about their quality control though.
