Is PinPics down

It was just working for me for about 20 minutes... added a bunch of pins I got recently, removed them from my Wants list, and then everything stopped working again :eek:
 
Yeah, I was on right before we went to dinner. Did a couple quick things, and hoped it meant it was working. I guess not.
 
Crazy they do not even come here and update. But the other side is still pushing pins and not having trouble taking money. What's going on guys??!
 
Is it just me, or does something like this seem to happen every year right before the pin event?

I seem to remember the last few years trying to prep and print my lists, and hoping it would come back up in time. One year, it was like...the day or two before, and I was very concerned, and angry at myself for not printing my pages sooner.
 
I tried to log in yesterday for the first time and years and thought maybe the site wasn't maintained anymore, which made me quite sad. I was able to login in later in the day. It's working ok for me now.

Who knows... That could make sense. They say they are a small company and trying to work things out. Maybe when they have lots of money to make a few other things are put to the side. I have read they have got a extra person to help with shipping and I read that the gal here is sending the invoice. So if they can all get on the same page and communicate much better, things may get start to smooth out. Still hopeful pins bought in 2017 finally show up for people and hopefully the site start to update and stay active. Fingers crossed....
 
"Secure Connection Failed" is what I still get!!

OK, this is starting to reach the absurd level! With the Pin event coming up,inventories need to be updated, and, on-line trading has STOPPED because the system is totally unstable! Please put some focus and effort into getting this fixed! IMHO the lack of effort and focus for DAYS/WEEKS shows a total disregard for your pin community and the people who rely on the database to be up and running.

I'm sure they are, but it's a server-side issue, which is entirely out of their control.

Very interesting to watch this company as a whole. They have or had such potential and really seem to be blowing it in some areas. They have the sells and money makeing ideas down pat. But maybe the other things will also be improving with time. We will see.
 
Yes, this is very sad- just two weeks until the Epcot pin event. I'm having the same problems others are having. When I tried to set up a TA, pushed the "send" button, all of a sudden "no internet connection" to the site anymore. I have also seen message "secure internet connection failed"
Sigh. What a mess
 
If I keep trying, I’ll eventually get in, but hopefully it can be fully functioning soon.

2 additional issues:

1) I no longer get emails regarding trade requests or responses (not in junk either).

2) For a while now, when I go to Pinpics (which I always do from my iPhone) the address bar makes a point to say that the site is not secure. I don’t see this message on any other site.

Not sure if anyone has some insight?

This one is just "how the internet functions." It means the web address starts with http instead of the encrypted version https, and https is becoming the standard. So much the standard, that about 2 weeks ago Google announced that any website not using https would be marked as "Not Secure" in Chrome.
