Someone offered me this pin:

Pin 29290 (Disney Auctions (P.I.N.S.) - Little Mermaid Ariel)

For my:

Pin 93076 (DSF - Wreck it Ralph (Taffyta Muttonfudge)

through pinpics. Is this a fair trade? I have never seen the LM pin in person and was wondering what the quality is like, how big it is in person, ETC. please help me out! thanks

Your definitely getting a good deal in my opinion. The edition sizes are different, but DA pin quality doesn't compare to DSF pins. Just my opinion.

I agree, and I ususally don't see that pin too often either. Yes, there are 25 people on pinpics trading it, but I just don't see it in trade books when going to the park. I would make that trade.

Oh, and the pin is, I would say, around the same size as your Taffyta pin, maybe just a tad smaller.

Any time you can get an older Disney auction pin for a newer DSF pin I would take it. Especially if the trades to wants ratio is similar. It is getting very hard to find the older auction pins.

I would do that in a heartbeat! (Mainly because I collect Ariel and don't care for WIR, but either way you are getting a good deal without taking advantage of the other trader)

Looks close. DA may have minor advantage in it's age but when DA starting pumping out their LE1000's they dropped in quality IMO. DSF pins are hit or miss and the Taffyta is not my favorite of the WIR release. It was there for a few days after, along with felix btw. But I'd say it's a good trade. Ariel is always popular.

Taffyta & Felix were actually there for 2 weeks after the release (I know cuz I called at the 2 week mark to see what was available but dumb me didn't even order them!)

Yeah actually I bought the WiR set the night of the release. All the pins except king candy were still available that night. Unfortunately, I traded all of them except the marquee away since I didn't know they would make such great traders.
