Is it EVER okay to request scrappers/fakes/damaged?

The reason I ask is because I'm working on a project, and I'd like scrappers/fakes/damaged pins.

I'm trying to do a huge wall collage of Disney themed stuff, and pins would be perfect... (even though I'd be clipping the pokey part off).

So, is this okay to ask of people... and if so, how do I go about doing it?

I really just want things that people are gonna destroy/throw away... I don't want to spend too much on this project, but depending on the image, I may spend a little.

Just ask people to take the posts off of the pins before they send them. That will help them be more comfortable with sending you Scrappers, Because that would make them harder to trade.

Just ask for the pins. People have given away their fakes in the past.
