Hey everyone,
Im in a current hunt for little mermaid Jumbos. Now this seems like a weird question but in your personal experience (speaking to the current jumbo holders) what did you often feel was a good trade?
Junbo for Jumbo usually? PODM for Jumbo?
I was just wondering because when I went to PTN Friday I saw very few Ariel jumbos but when I did see a few I wanted them sooooo bad. But being somewhat new I was kind of afraid to ask if a PODM was worth a Jumbo. Should I invest in other jumbos in hopes of trading? Alittle word of advice would be appreciated

Well I have NEVER traded, but I would say with how much people LOVE the PODM's, some jumbos might not even be worth the PODM! I think it just depends on how popular the jumbo is because not all of them are that sought after! I am sure with LM/Ariel however, they are highly wanted jumbos!!! But many of the PODM's are also highly sought after!?!? Guess someone with experience can probably give better advice! Sorry!

I think it's going to vary on a trader by trader basis.

For example, I know a trader with a Little Mermaid jumbo and they are not looking to trade for other jumbos. They would actually prefer to trade for multiples of new pins. So it may be possible that a PODM could pry said jumbo away from this particular trader and it may be possible to pry it away with two or three current DSF releases or even current LE releases.

I prefer jumbo pins I have gotten a few buy offering multiple pins but not all jumbos have a lot of value I have gotten quite a few jumbos on ebay for less than 10 dollars

What PODM do you have? Realistically, the only pins I can see you possibly trading for with the recent PODMs would be pin #5 or #7. Unless you find someone who bought a lot of princess pins in a lot (for cheap), had these and didn't care for them (and was a PODM collector). If you have a Snow White PODM featuring Snow White, maybe one of the other ones (with other pins added by you).

One thing I've always learned, it never hurts to ask. Point out the pins you like and let them see what you have and the trader will tell you yay or nay.

I have 3 PODMs of lion king. I am currently trying to sell them on here but was seeing I could trade one for one of these. And I know their not as highly saught but I have new gear up for adventure- Oswald, Jessica, Tinkerbell, dumbo signed by artist. And lastly I am going to go to the steam boat Willie PODM.

Right now, the PODMs are sought after (again, depending on the scene). Ariel, Belle, and Rapunzel seem to be the most highly sought after princesses (based upon what I've been seeing on the threads). There was a post here:

about values of PODMs vs. older pins and most of the older collectors:
