Well, it was an automated note, so I'm sure they just have key words flagged...but the note was definitely tailored to "crap" in particular. And it was sort of snarky...like it was trying to be cute. It was all, "Naughty, naughty!". I didn't find it cute, though...especially since it deleted my message and I had to re-type it.

And crap? Really? Like, I understand some words getting the big fat censor. But crap is a little light to be called a "swear word", which is how the referred to it in the box. Whatever. I forget sometimes that I'm not socially acceptable in some circles...
 
I guess monitoring people's messages keeps them distracted from all the misinformation and hundreds (thousands?) of pin listings that aren't on their site. Then again, if they actually cared about pins, they wouldn't ban the people who know more than they do.

I wonder if it was crap or if "crap" is in "sCRAPper?" They probably don't want scrapper warnings and messages so they blocked certain parts of that word?
 
I to have written posts and had them deleted but the core group did not have theirs deleted and I did not even us any bad language just responded to a post that I was cheating someone out of $80 which I was not, hey if others can charge a little over price so can I and I got reamed for it so won't sell anything from events on there at all needless to say I don't get many responses for anything I try to trade or sell there but still use it for the pinpics
 
On the main site. I was basically PMing a fellow trader something like, "ah, crap...I did trade that pin away" because we were working out a trade. Then a little box appeared (much like the "successfully sent" one), and it told me I had a potty mouth. :lol:
 
I know I would have been rather affronted to be pulled up like that, but perhaps they are just trying to avoid people sending messages like "thats a crap trade offer", which wouldnt be appropriate. I do sometimes hate the fact that I can always see both sides of the arguement! LOL!
 

I think the only social circle you need to be concerned about is the preschool group...
