Hello everyone!

I just had my interview with Disney on Tuesday for Part-Time Attractions and at the end of the interview, they offered me a job!! I'm beyond ecstatic because working at Disneyland has been my dream for I can't even tell you how long. I was offered my choice of Tomorrowland or Fantasyland, with a recommendation for Fantasyland since it fit my schedule better so I will be working attractions there

Now obviously after I got over the initial excitement of having a dream come true, I couldn't help but wonder what pin perks come with the job. I know there are cast member exclusive pins and I heard that Disneyland cast members can go to WDI but I'm not 100% sure so please enlighten me!

Also, I would love to help anyone out with pins so please let me know if there is anything I can get you now that I'm going to be a Cast Member. I won't have my Disney I.D. badge for a bit, so I won't be able to get any cast member exclusive pins yet, but hopefully soon!

Totally awesome! Congrats to you! You do get all kinds of perks from what I hear, but hopefully some of the cast members here can clarify things for you. Congrats again!

Definitely November! Especially for when Beauty and the Beast PODM comes out! Who knows you might be able to trade them if you don't keep them for some most wanted Rapunzel pins~!

Congratulations on landing a dream job!! Getting any job these days is pretty tough, I'm really glad you got one you dearly wanted. :3 I hope you get some great pins to trade into the community!

thats great to hear!!
What an amazing opportunity! Its my dream to work @ Disney too!! (living in Canada makes it harder) LOL! BUT, I hope that when I come to visit DisneyLand again (hopefully soon) we can meet up congrats again!

Thank you so much GrayTiger, disneykitty24, gis, Vixy, and Sandy!!!

As for which attractions I'll be working, I won't find out until either Traditions or my first day of training. The number of attractions I'll work depends on how many they'll train me in so I guess we'll see! I'd love to meet up with anyone who is around the area

Welcome to the club from a former parkwide foods cast member! I believe most Fantasyland Attractions new hires start on one of the spinners (Carousel, Tea Party, or Dumbo) and quickly get trained on the dark rides. Eventually you'll get a chance at higher capacity attractions such as Small World and Matterhorn. If you enjoy public speaking, Storybookland is an option as well. Once the theater reopens you will probably do crowd control in there a lot as well. As a new hire, expect to get parade/fireworks duty a lot. That can be very trying, but I always enjoyed it as a change of pace. You might also get asked to do Fantasmic once in awhile. Just do your job fairly and don't let difficult guests get to you. You'll be surprised how good it feels when a guest tells you that you totally made their vacation.
