I want to collect all the jumbo vinylmation pins (I only have 6-7 so far... quite a ways to go, lol) and I just got done sending out trade requests to 22 different people. Hopefully I get some responses; I feel like the trades I offered are fair, so now let's wait and see!!!
 
As someone who has sent out (what I thought were) reasonable requests in the past, I can tell you that you will most likely be underwhelmed by the number of actual responses. From these requests, I would get much less than 5% responses one way or the other, and most of the responses I did get were polite refusals.

Thanks for the welcome! I've sent out a whole bunch of requests before, made one trade and had one polite refusal. Nobody else responded. Hopefully things will go better this time, but I appreciate the warning to not set my expectations too high. Fingers crossed, nonetheless!
 
Yeh, it go's in waves....also there are people on here as we speak begging in a thread for people to "please trade with me" or i have a goal of x amount of trades i wanna get this week. I match their trades with wants, almost equal or offer 2 4 1 deal and then they say...no thanks???? So i dont get too worked up any more. They dont wanna trade they want a specific trade. Oh well. I hope the vinylpins is perhaps easier for ya...oh well collecting is also a lesson in patience i'm learning.
 
So I got three responses and was able to set up two trades. As it turns out, one of the individuals lives about 5 minutes away from me here in AZ, so we'll be meeting up tomorrow to trade. Sweet stuff!
 
That's great! I love the Jumbo Vinyls. They are my favorite non-Stitch pins I own. Good luck getting them. Some are definitely easier to get than others. My suggestion is get the ones that can still be purchased and go from there.
 
Well, I met with a fellow DPF member earlier today and traded for four vinylmation jumbos!





Now I just got to get working on those LE 250's... I'm falling behind! Overall, it was great though, to meet another trader who lives so close. We may actually really get some wheels turning on a Phoenix pin trading event. PM me if you're interested!
