Thank you so much for the warm welcome guys!! I really do appreciate it! Yes, something new has stared deep in my soul once I got to see my LE Ariel in person. Just a major craving for more of these beauty's have formed. Two quick questions I have wondered, and no better place to ask than here. First of all, can you buy or trade dolls on this forum? If so, is there a certain place? Second question, way back when the move Enchanted was released, the Disney Store had a special edition Giselle doll. Well I was able to get one, and still have her. As you can see form my sig and icon I love that movie. I am upset that Giselle never became a full Disney princess! She was so close, but never made it. Anyways, is that doll considered a LE doll like the current LE dolls, or she in a category all of her own? If someone could just clarify that for me, that would be great!

That doll that you have is not considered part of the current limited edition doll line. The line was started in 2009 with Snow however Enchanted was released back in 2007. I have started a thread that lists all the current limited edition disney dolls you can refer to that for more detailed information.

That would be amazing to have those two as dolls. MP is a secondary collection for me but I would probably get them

Welcome to the forum! I really want that LE Belle too. Belle is one of my favorite Disney Princesses. If not my most favorite.

Im regretting not gettting Eric and Urusla. If you decided to sell them can you PM me and let me know?
 

I know they say you cannot return these, but I have returned LE dolls from online orders before. I returned Calhoun and the Merida/Elinor Set. I quite simply just mailed them back with the original shipping form and they gave me my money back. The only bummer was that I had to pay the return shipping. I would think these would be good trade items too or somebody on here may want to just buy them outright from you.
 
I guess they'll be easy to "get rid of". Only problem is I'm in Canada, so shipping will be more and I'll have to figure something out to make sure the buyer / trader doesn't get stuck paying customs. Maybe I would just ship them on a Buffalo shopping trip day. First I have to make sure they arrive in good condition, which I won't know until next weekend (or later if my Belle and Beast set isn't there yet).
 

I've bought golf clubs and some other things from Canada (I'm I the US) and we don't pay customs (Free Trade Act). You should be able to ship them to a US buyer for a reasonable cost.

Wow! I collect Merida merch, so I ordered him same day I pre-ordered Ariel. He is adorable. Love his peg leg. Glad I didn't put it off.
 
=) haha this week is going to be big on mail for me too, my Eric and Ursula Dolls are coming, and I am also getting A Snow White Fairy Tale Designer Journal on wednseday too! Plus five other packages. So excited!
 
Can we already have some leaked pictures of LE Anna?? I really hope she comes in her green gown. Although I bet her adventure/winter outfit will turn out more iconic, I think the doll would look fancier with the green dress.
 
Hey guys! This looks like my kind of thread! :hug: I've been collecting the 17" dolls starting with Snow White in 2009!

Whenever I order my dolls online they arrive with damage to their boxes. Is this a common thing with ordering online, or am I the only unlucky one?
 

Welcome - we are all collectors here, so yep - sounds like a place for you .
Oh no, but please, don't start another "I hate UPS" post :sad: - I think we've got at least two pages now filled with posts of people here who have damaged goods from ordering online and I think it'll start all again. If you'd like to hear about other people's experiences, just go back a couple of pages. You will find you're not alone.

Hi guys, it has been confirmed that the Anna and Elsa dolls will both be a LE of 2,500. Also it does not appear like they will be sold as a set together but instead as individual dolls.

Thanks a lot for the heads up Polaris! Hopefully we get a date and promo pictures soon, and if not, leaked pictures will be more than welcome hehehe. Do you have any idea if these will work with a preorder option or first come, first serve?

I believe Anna will have a preorder option but not sure on Elsa yet.
 
I just got my order but Ursula is faulty Does anyone know if DS UK keep some aside for replacements? I can't get through on the phone

This is exciting, but the low edition numbers worry me a bit. I know this movie is not yet out, so depending on how they decide to the releases, one this month and one next month for the movie release in theaters or Blueray/DVD, it might be possible that Anna will be easier to get than Elsa, which I figured that much so far since Elsa is showing more popularity. I want them both, but I admit I want Elsa more, I have been so drawn to her since I first saw her. Can't wait to see what they look like.

oh no what's up with it? Ds UK is rubbish to get a hold of and I can't listen to the bare neccassities anymore! Lol hopefully they will sort it out for you .
 
UK here - and Ariel just arrived !

I retract my earlier statement about the courier Hermes, they were polite, knocked, and WAITED for signature.

The Packaging and Ariel's box were in perfect condition. Ariel is not damaged, more beautiful than the stock pictures and my LE number is pretty high, it started 57-- I forget the last two digits.
Her hair is less than perfect ; quite mussed up and crappy on one side, but meh, whatever, I'll fix it myself later; I curl doll hair a lot anyway. It's slightly disappointing but don't think of imperfect hair as damage ; if she had factory errors on her face paint or marks on her body then that would annoy me forever, so I'm relieved that's the only problem.

Anyway now she's packed away until I get her for christmas

I hope people still waiting receive theirs soon!

Thank you There are rows and rows of sequins missing and just lose thread hanging where they used to be. Her front tentacle also looks as if it were repaired - there's a massive clump of unsightly purple stitching sewn into it. I've given up trying to call so have just sent them an email instead. Knowing DS though it probably won't be sorted till way after Christmas.
 
Zanna please call them too! I've tried emails before and aside from getting an order canceled for me, the emails never get me a good response. I had to get a replacement Cinderella and it was only by calling that they really helped me.
 

Christmas 2014?! I'm still waiting for them to sort out my issues with my Jasmine & Aladdin set I received almost 3 weeks ago! They really are terrible when you have problems with dolls.
