Welcome to the forum enchantedguy, you'll have lots of fun here. the message board is really fantastic to get excited about the dolls. I started collecting last summer with the birth of my partner's first grand child in mind. Since however, I've gone in the more LE direction too and am absolutely loving it. So far my collection seems to be going in the direction of the little mermaid. the new LE doll is on its way, and hopefully I'm able to get my hands on the designer couple set in little less than a week and a half.
 
Welcome to the forum ecnhantedguy! Isn't she fantastic! Ariel is my biggest love all and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to buy her along with LE Eric & Ursula. Looking forward to talking to you! :)
 
I am still fairly new to this board and I have to say this is probably the most welcoming, and nice fandom I have been a part of. There is no drama here and it is so refreshing. I have left a lot of boards because of it. I love it here!
 
The Ursula doll that I got my cousin is supposed to arrive on Tuesday. The only problem is, she uses a forwarding service. So I need to contact them and tell them to take extra care when shipping it again... I hate talking to people about how valuable and rare a doll is... They just laugh and become condescending.
 
Anyone else kinda feeling bored with this whole waiting nonsense? Well...Do this! :D
I was curious cause...I didn't know where Memphis, TN was...or even where Tennessee was. Don't judge! ;) So I decided to get on Google Maps to find it. Then I thought, "Ooh! Let's see where the most recent destination scan was!" It's kind of fun and exciting.
According to Google Maps though...had they just gone a direct route from Memphis to me...it would have saved them a whole hour. 20 vs 21, Juss sayin. ;) Also, my Ursula's recent scan was a "Departure Scan" so I looked it up to see how long it would take now. 15 hour drive. Gah! That 15 hour drive is gonna be about a 96 hour wait for me! O.o I'm curious to see where her next layover/hand off will be. Maybe...just maybe...I'll get her sooner! :D

My order was updated and it seems its going to take another day. I hope it didn't get sent in the wrong direction. I've had that happen with mail before.
 
Ok I looked at my shipping detail. Eric is at DFW airport..,, I work 5 minutes at the most from there LOL. I want to go rescue him. He will be here Monday. Ursula is a tad slower and is scheduled Tuesday. They both showed same tracking number until I entered it on the UPS site and hit the show all button. Nothing except a ticket was issued for BATB.

That's interesting, my Eric will arrive before Ursula as well. I have to wait for Wednesday and Thursday though.
 
My Ursula and Eric should both be arriving on Wed but the emails I got for them were kinda confusing. I hate UPS and they have delivered either earlier or later than stated so I can't be too sure. I'm just going to constantly call home to ask if they've arrived. If my dolls don't arrive this week (safely) all the fires in the underworld will be put to shame by the intensity of my wrath :mad: (I have a temper :|). lol.

I really hope that your dolls arrive safely, but your "fires of the underworld" comment really made me laugh, lol. :rofl:
 
I actually think that waiting for these dolls to come is fun. I mean, If I had a LE 17" Anna in my hands now I'd be pretty happy, but I kind of like the excitement of waiting for them.

ummmm, I'm pretty sure you will get your dolls. Just calm down and be patient. Smh...
 
smh...I wanted to imply that I hated UPS. Obviously my dolls will arrive, I just hate the fact that UPS is delivering. I've had problems with them before where my packages are given to USPS to deliver after the delivery date and they sometimes throw my boxes over the fence. Believe me, it's not fun when they do that.

Aw, man, I only cancelled one order of Eric and Ursula successfully! (I ordered a set each for me and my friend and then we both got them in store) So, the tracking which I thought was for BatB is for Eric and Ursula. Anyway, they'll be delivered on Wednesday. Maybe I'll trade them one day or something. You for sure can't return these LE dolls, right?

You can easily trade them that's for sure. I'm hoping to do so for Ursula by getting the frozen dolls.
 
Sorry a little off topic but I'm so HAPPY I bought the King Fergus doll when I did because he sold out before all the other classic dolls!!

My Eric and Ursula should be here on Thursday along with my King Fergus and Merida Lip Gloss! However, seeing some of the pictures of Ursula....I'm not sure if I'm really that in love with her.....but we will see when she comes in. May be it will change my mind after seeing her in person.
