Hey everyone thanks for the responses. That does make me feel a little better knowing that it is not just me. I have a feeling that they must have done a while load of Eric and Ursuala orders and probably did Eric first so delivered those to UPS. But because of how late they got to preparingb everything for shipping they didn't get round to delivering the Ursula lot to UPS and I am assuming that they just do one lot of deliveries to UPS at the end of the day? So hopefully the status will change later tonight.

Thanks again for for letting me know that I wasn't the only one in this situation a it does make me feel a whole lot better! :)

I'm not sure if this makes a difference, but I have two tracking numbers. The one that shows it's almost to me says it has "2 packages" and weighs 5 pounds.. So I'm not sure if maybe they're coming in the same box?

The dolls generally weigh 5-6lbs each and I think the number of packages refer to how many packages in total UPS has going to a particular address.

But regardless thanks for the info and suggestion as any info at the moment would be welcomed. Especially with how nerve wracking this can be.

Well shoot!! In that case I'm in the same boat as you are! Hopefully we all get them soon before we all lose our minds :anxious:
 
OK good news my UK order for Ariel is shipped with a tracking number - badnews - courier is HERMES. I am very very worried
 
Still haven't receive my dispatch confirmation :(

is Hermes that bad ? Never had problem before with Yodel except a parcel in the bin ..
 
Well I must express my sadness, After still not receiving my blu-ray and lithos I decided it was time to call the DS. I found it very odd from the beginning that the LE Ariel doll and Movie were packaged into two different boxes with two different tracking numbers. They also shipped through usps instead of UPS. The tracking for the doll was slow, but I was able to monitor her and knew when she was about to be delivered, however the tracking for the Blu-ray was never available to see. I called to see if their was any way we could get tracking information, I explained my situation, they put me on hold. When they come back the CM tells me that unfortunately it is highly likely that the package with the lithos and movie are lost. I of course am extremely disappointed, but ask her what happens next and how long will it take to get my package. She then tells me that she will re-send the movie, but unfortunately they are out of lithographs. This of course breaks my heart because the lithos were the ONLY reason why I pre-ordered the movie in the first place. She apologized a million times and it is not her fault that it got lost, but I am very sad. I asked her what happens to the lost package, does it go back to the warehouse, do they investigate the situation? Sadly she expressed that most of the time when a package is lost, it is lost and people rarely return the packages if they get shipped wrong. That is very, very sad and that people would just keep a package that does not belong to them is even sadder. So, most likely someone somewhere got a free movie along with the lithos I was looking forward to. She gave me a $10 gift card for the inconvenience, but I am still very disappointed. On the other hand I would have preferred this happening with the movie and not the LE Doll because I would have gone ballistic. :( I still wish I would have gotten my lithos though. :cry::cry:

OMG so sorry to hear! For some people they are just random pieces of paper but for us Disney fans, they are pieces of our childhood, especially for people who grew up with Little Mermaid. I'm shocked that all of our stores in my city had sold out of their lithos too. I believe each store only received 400 lithos. Because I remember I was opening our boxes for those lithos & we had only 4 boxes of them. Meaning only a 100 of them were in each box. Like we were sold out of them a month ago. But anyways soo sorry to hear about your lost package with the Blu ray & lithos. Trust me I was pretty bummed about it too when I had to tell the guests that they were sold out & I could tell they really just wanted the LM lithos.

Guys.. I was thinking.. Since its the 50th anniversary of Mary Poppins... What if they made a Jolly Holiday LE Mary?!?! I would DIE. :drool: My mom would probably fight me for her . Lol. I really wish that this would happen! Especially with saving Mr. Banks coming out! :x:

I'm so sorry to hear about your DVD/litho situation. While a $10 gift card is nice, it doesn't make up for the fact that your package is lost and the lithos are worth way more than that. My doll and DVD were shipped differently, too...doll by UPS and movie by USPS...but I received my movie on Monday. It's a real shame and I know what it's like losing a package through USPS. They are such an awful carrier!! I filed a claim with a lost package and they never called me back for a follow up -- they just don't care! I have no idea how a package with somebodies address clearly written on the box gets lost, or where it goes, but I do hope, by some magic, the lithos make it to your doorstep.

I'm so sorry to hear that this happened to you. What is weird is that when Brave was released on blu-ray and they had the lithograph promo for the pre-orders on DS.com, my order was delayed for almost a month because they ran out of lithographs, and I when I e-mailed DS customer service they told me that they were making more and then my blu-ray would be shipped with the lithographs (and they were). Like you, the only reason I ever pre-order any of the Disney movies from DS.com is because of the lithographs. Still, you are very fortunate that at least it did not happen to the LE Ariel doll!
 
Once I received a package from a company (that I've ordered stuff from before) that was actually ordered by a person in Michigan and I live in Virginia. For some reason on the outside of the package was my address, but inside it was the other person's address. I told my mother to send it to the guy who ordered the package; because I'm a spoiled kid and don't know how to mail things myself (or do anything really). I'm really sorry about your movie and lithos. I'd be devastated and would probably start bawling. I always go to the store and pick-up the dolls rather ordering them because I absolutely hate the UPS people.

She told me that in some cases the lost items sometimes make their way to their destination, it would be great if this were one of those cases even if it happens to be a month from now.

Sorry you had to through all this. I would have cancelled my order and asked for a refund but I would have told them I will keep the $10 gift card in the name of guest service and buy the movie somewhere cheaper.
 
I have a tracking number but it still says that the Ursula do is waiting for be dropped off to the UPS facility. So the tracking number has been printed but the items haven't been delivered to UPS for delivery. This is making me worry now. This happened to me last year with designer Maleficent wherein they printed the label but failed to attach it onto any of the dolls, Disney being Disney wouldn't let me do anything until a week after it was "shipped" so luckily at this point she was still in stock so they just had to put the order through again.

this is why I have been asking if anyone else has the same situation with their Ursula's? Where she has a tracking number but where it still says shipping label printed and waiting on goods to arrive. That way I know that they have just printed the labels for a bunch if Ursula's, attached them and just haven't gotten around to delivering it to ups yet.

Eew. Thankfully, I got the "Origin" scan yesterday. I've also gotten a "Departure" and "Arrival" scan today. She's gone from Memphis, TN and is resting in Mesquite, TX right now. It feels like countries and months away for her to finally make it out here to AZ. I just hope she doesn't melt. ;)

I know 500 were sent to the UK...but I wonder how many were sent to stores and how many were online. I just find it so weird and so unbelievably "What the Hell were you thinking?!" that they could print out a label for a purchased product...and not finish the job by attaching and sending. I'm normally really super nice to the sales people and customer service reps (because they normally are treated poorly by the public and are company peons) but...I don't think I could be that nice or patient if that happened to me.

I'm very sorry that happened to you. I would be very upset and disappointed too.
 
Polaris im actually kinda worried about that too. neither my ursula or eric have had any progress besides the printed shipping label. i hope everthing is alright

*EDIT* This is kinda OT but those of you who went to the disney store to pick up your preorder of the movie did they have the "dvd case"/silver version of the box? i much prefer that one to the blue one and i was hoping theyd have it when i do go pick mine up from the store on the 15th

You never know! I ordered the SDCC exclusive Monster High doll and she was to be shipped from Cali. I live in Oregon, and the package ended up in Florida! And then tracking stopped for about a week. And I thought I had lost her. But then the tracking popped up in Oregon. So she did make her way eventually.
 
I have been checking my tracking constantly and whilst Eric is almost at the shipping destination Ursula has not even been delivered to UPS for delivery. I wonder if the warehouse is having an absolute meltdown, I just hope there is a delay in them getting the dolls to UPS, is rather that than them printing out a whole bunch of labels and forgetting to attach them to items or misplacing the labels. Gosh why does Disney always do this! LOL.

i swear sometimes it feels like they do it on purpose haha.

EDIT: hey guys just an update as soon as I checked it again after posting this Ursula has updated and is now in transit and is expected to arrive on Tuesday, so Eric comes on Monday and Ursula on Tuesday. So hopefully all those that have had the same issue yours will also say in transit now.

I definitely think the warehouse is just having trouble keeping up with the orders and shipping them because even the BATB DFTC doll has not shipped and usually the DFTC dolls would have shipped by now. I think what has happened to your Ursula is what happened to mine wherein they processed it but the items are still sitting in the warehouse as it wasn't included in the lot set to UPS. So hopefully on Monday yours should update by the end of the day at around 8:30pm EST. If it doesn't then I would follow it up then. To anyone else still waiting, good luck as I am confident it is just because of the warehouse being flooded with orders but I can imagine why you would be freaking out as i was when it happened to me.

now it's just a matter of waiting to get my dolls, hopefully they are ok and haven't been damaged, that is the last hurdle left before getting my dolls and after that I can relax.
