I can't wait until next year to see the remaining dolls in the DFTC and Aurora 17", I really hope they put her in her peasant gown ♥
 

With Christmas eve coming, i will 100% save up the money for Aurora LE doll (i've waited for years that doll)
and Fairytale Couple Aurora and Philip (I really hope they will be gorgeous).

I used to already have the money saved up for Aurora LE, but they will be re-used for Elsa LE doll (Finger crossed :anxious: :anxious:)

These 3 limited things CAN'T pass for my sake. :lol:
 
Just picked up 12" Elsa and the plush version of Anna and Elsa with the 25% off sale. I've noticed that the plush dolls seem to get less detailed after the first run and I didn't want to miss out! I wasn't going to get 12" doll originally, but just in case I can't get the LE doll, I wanted at least one version of Elsa
 
What do you guys think, I'm contemplating getting one of these for Christmas Cinderella, Elsa or Ariel! I was thinking maybe get elsa and her price could go up and then I could always trade her for Cindy but the more I look at elsa the more I think she's the most beautiful! But Ariel is one of my fav characters I just dislike her fin.
 
I love the look of Elsa for a winter doll - Frozen has definitely put me in the Christmas spirit much earlier than usual this year.
 

I kind of hope it's confirmed that Aladdin will be the collection for the next D23 expo how Ariel was this year for this expo.. I love the movie and the dolls

Aladdin is a classic, I truly hope we get lots of merchandise for the re-release of the movie. I think we need more merch from them. It is sad that they do not do the merchandise explosion for all their re-releases. I understand that some movies are more popular than others, but last time Aladdin was released, I was disappointed because almost nothing was released for the movie, same thing with Sleeping Beauty. They need to understand that we want the merchandise! Anyway vent over, lol.

That would be awesome as I think she would have some similarities to the LE Alice which is by far one of my favorite LEs, dont really know the premise of Saving Mr Banks yet but I do like Tom Hanks so I may go and see it regardless LOL.

Disney has never done a LE based on a live action character so it will be interesting to see if they do as they never did a male character before and then released Prince Eric. Mind you if they were to based one off a live action character I would love it to be of Maleficent.

I do hope they do Pocahontas and Mulan because right now we are expecting an Aurora next year and the possibility of Jasmine the year after (especially if they decide to release a diamond edition of Aladdin in 2015) which would mean the only princesses missing would be Pocahontas and Mulan and well I just cannot see Disney missing those two because there is just so much potential with those two characters especially if they are done right. I mean look at how great Merida came out and her outfit in the movie was very simple but they accessorized her well in her LE form.

I would have loved a movie that focused more on Walt Disney, but as a person who adores Walt, this movie can't be missed and then they go and put Tom Hanks in there who is my favorite actor, I am beyond excited for this movie!! ♥♥
 
Eeeeek - not long to go now....I'm sooo excited about the frozen dolls!! Does anyone think there will be a surprise release with it?

On another topic, I'd loooove the idea of a pocahontas doll - those lovely colours in the leaves.....she would look stunning! Also fingers crossed for Maleficent and Mary poppins dolls,.....theyd be sooooo great

Haha completely agree! Less than a week to go for the release! I cannot wait! I am nervous and excited about it at the same time. I cannot wait!

I am hoping to get both dolls as well so hopefully everything goes smoothly! Dunno if there will be a surprise release but it will definitely be interesting to see if anything else will be released around that time as well. Anyone have any more information about the LE vinylmations that are supposed to be coming out as well? Will they be released online as well? If so anyone have an idea when?

Sooo loving the Frozen line of merchandise! Already building up a decent collection and i havent even seen the movie yet, got my Olaf plush yesterday and he is so cute! LOL Wish I had a bigger one! haha.
 
hahah - I'd love an Olaf plush - he looks so cute!! Yes, best of luck with the dolls - im super excited! Theyre so pretty - I think I prefer Anna from the pics but it may change once I see them in person!!
 

The vinylmation is being released the 22nd, $29.95 for the girls LE 1,500, Olaf $16.95: LE 2,500 with 1/10 chance of getting summer Olaf . I'm pretty sure they are being released online but don't hold me to that. I find this release date super annoying because now you can't combine shipping. Lame-o.

Iv seen the Ariel doll going for around £130 on eBay and had planned to get her hopefully next Friday when I get paid but now I see this Elsa doll and it's £60 and so pretty I don't no what to get haha! Elsa is just so sparkly and pretty. Which would you guys buy?
 
Hey guys people started talking about this on the Maleficent thread so I wanted to continue it here because I figured this is the correct thread to bring it up in.

I just wanted to get an idea as to what dolls you guys are expecting or speculating to be released next year?
Here are my predictions for 2014:

Spring release:
- Anna in her snow gear outfit to commemorate the release of Frozen on blu ray

Fall release:
- Aurora to be released in Fall as part of doll season and to commemorate the release of Sleeping Beauty on blu ray as a diamond edition.
- Maleficent to be released in Fall as part of doll season and to commemorate the release of Sleeping Beauty on blu ray as a diamond edition.
- Possible Honey Lemon doll to be released at the end of doll season to commemorate the release of Big Hero 6 in theatres.

I am still wondering if there will be a Mary Poppins doll for 'Saving Mr Banks' which would be very soon, though it has already premiered in UK not America yet

Right on! I am really looking forward to the merchandise released for Sleeping Beauty besides the dolls. Last time the movie was released I was disappointed that they did not release anything.

@ Tinkerboy, I think a Mary Poppins doll would be great too!

Yeah it will be interesting to see if they release something for Saving Mr Banks but because they haven't released much in terms of merchandise yet I dunno if they will be releasing much at all. Mainly because if they were going to release something they would have released it by now and with the Frozen dolls coming out on Wednesday it is not likely they would release three at the same time especially if it based on live action characters. So as much as I would love to see a Mary Poppins doll I don't think it likely in the near future. Maybe later down the track after they release all the princess dolls? To be honest I would prefer Disney to release Pocahontas and Mulan over Mary Poppins first.

Yeah I was unsure if I should include that one or not, mainly because they usually only do a single doll release around spring and I saw it more likely that if they were just gong to release one that it would be Anna over Elsa. But who knows Disney has surprised us in the past so they may consider releasing more than one doll during Spring again like they did back in 2012 (Wedding Rapunzel and Merida, well Merida was more of a summer release but was released outside of doll season as well) so a coronation dressed Elsa could be possible and would be amazing. That way we could have matching Frozen dolls because year right now it is a little funny that they did one in the snow outfit and the other in the coronation outfit.
 
Sunfire and Big Hero 6...vat ees dees chew speak of? I am confused and intrigued.

Plus...I HOPE TO ALL THAT IS HOLY AND UNHOLY THAT THE LE MALEFICENT DOLL
IS EXCLUSIVELY CARTOON BASED AND NOT A COMBO OR JUST LIVE ACTION!!!! I have spoken!!
