Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
Hi everyone! I'm new here and pin collecting as well. I'm gonna try to get an Elsa doll tonight too. How long does it usually take to get the confirmation email? I never got a LE doll before. I'm just kind of new at everything. :wavey:
 
Little over an hour to go! I am so excited. I think those of us here should be okay. Hope the link fairies are with us tonight. Best of luck to everyone at the stores tomorrow!
 
I am biting my nails because online is my only option. I can't go to the store tomorrow because I have work and by the time I get out the dolls will be long gone. I am really hoping I have luck tonight. I am only getting Elsa so hopefully I will be successful. :anxious:

Hi and welcome! This is my first LE doll too (besides the couples). It's very exciting. Good luck! One of the pros will definitely know about emails. If I remember right from reading, it doesn't take too long, but I can't say for certain.
 
I can't remember: if your order is canceled, how soon will they let you know? Is it best to call and confirm in the morning? One of my biggest dreads when ordering online (besides the damaged boxes) is that they'll cancel on me after I have no chance of getting them at my local store. Anyone gone through that heartbreak, and how late did you find out?

P.S. Which thread should I be watching more? The LE one or the Frozen one? I don't want my laptop to lag due to too many browsers open. XD
 
I like the added embrodery on the Harrods set a lot, and am missing at least the icicles in the read, but I'm never unboxing her anyway and it's not worth four-five times the price to me.

Taking the shot at midnight for both. My store has nine each however. As much as I'd love to buy them in person and pick them out, I'm not passing up a first out of only two chances.

Oh ok. I ordered the Elsa and Anna ornament from the Disney store last week and it took a while to get a shipping confirmation it seemed. It was funny, I ordered it, then the day after it was sold out.
 
I know you are all panicking a little bit, but I hope it eases your worries a little to know that from the cm standpoint, there are NOT a lot of people who know about these dolls at all. The only ones who seem to know are those who have collected in the past and collect frequently. I know it's been said before but really, nobody knows about these characters yet. The release being before the theatrical release is the best possible thing that could happen for the collectors. I know it's a low edition size though and that's what's really making people nervous.


Although I don't collect the dolls, I hope that everyone here will have good luck tonight!
 

Thank you for the words of encouragement. I think for some of us its a combination of the low edition size plus there will always be people who purchases these dolls just to profit from them. I know we have discussed that it may be a gamble for the flippers since the movie has not come out yet and the characters are new, but some sharks won't care and will be after them anyway. I am crossing my fingers for everyone who want one tonight. Good luck fellow doll collectors
 

What I don't understand is there is a seller (in American) that has 4 or 5 each of Elsa and Anna listed already. Why do they list if they don't even have them yet? I know in the U.K. I believe already have some. I just don't understand why they list them if they don't even have them. That seems dishonest.
 

Ah, the sharks. They really do like to ruin things, don't they? I forget about those little suckers...

Hopefully as long as everyone on the forum sticks together and helps each other out, we can come out successful

Im getting so nervous! Really worried about that cancellation email and stuff... its going to be tough to get to sleep after all the excitement
 
Keyboard and mouse batteries charged! Reboot computer! Checked internet connection! Okay everything that I can do I have done, now to wait and if it's meant to be, hopefully later this week Elsa will be coming home ^^. Doll Cheer!!! for everyone tonight and tomorrow

That shark that was mentioned, they now have 15 dolls listed on their ebay page. They are truly the skidmark on the underpants of doll collecting society.

That is so aggravating. I hope they get no dolls. Lol. I don't know how likely that is to happen but whatever, I can wish. Can you report them since technically there's no way they can have them yet?
