Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information

I'm so torn, I tired calling ALL of the disney stores around me and ask how many dolls they were each getting so I can plan properly but no one knows the exact number until tomorrow -.-

anyone else have this problem? haha

I would say that if your store is expected to get the dolls just try and get there as early as you can, if you are at the front of the line then stay there if not (i.e several people probably more than 4 are in front of you) then go to another store like Quasimodo said he would do. I dont think there will be too many line ups in stores as these dolls are not going to be anywhere near as popular as the Belle and Ariel DFDC sets or the Eric and Ursula LE dolls. So you should be right as long as if you go in early enough.

I agree that these dolls will probably sell out within the hour of release but that is only because of the hype caused on here, especially now that we know that the Euro Disney Stores will have 1000 units each this has caused higher anticipation and anxiety. I definitely think the stock will last a lot longer on the UK site which is why I find it odd that they increased the number of dolls there especially since if it did sell out in Europe those that missed out could always order it from the US if they really wanted it whereas the reverse cannot be said about the US/worldwide market unless you were to ask the help of a Euro member on the forum.

Either way I just think if you are smart about the release and prepared then you should be able to at least get one doll. Dont forget in most cases the reason why the dolls sell out is because most people get back ups or a secondary doll moreso than those that buy them to resell them on ebay. So that being said if you are smart about the release you should be able to at least get one doll if not at least one of each doll.

Hmmm, I have a hard time believing that they don't know. My store "knew" as soon as it was posted on the DS facebook page. Before that they claimed complete ignorance. My store said they are getting 3 in and told me not to bother with store that I should just order online. :sad:

Totally agree with the 3 Fairies being a LE release! That would be wonderful, but I really doubt they would. Still, it's a nice thought! I seriously hope they make Phillip, especially after how well they did with Eric.

They better do Philip. I can see them doing Maleficent, Aurora and Phillip just like they did Ariel, Eric and Ursula and maybe Aurora and Phillip in the DFDC set.

Im not planning on staying up or setting an alarm to get E&A but I tend to always wake up around 3 anyways, so Ill try them both online. If not then Ill hit my local store tomorrow. Not sure how many they are getting but they said they are not doing a raffle. Just first come, first serve.

Whelp, something tells me buying in-store here will be more difficult than I originally thought since we're not allowed to line up. Yeah, the mall opens at 7 and the store at 10, but security will not allow you to line up outside. Thus, you have to keep moving and/or fake window-shopping while you stall and try to be one of the first in. :/

Wow the Euro Disney market sure is opening a lot of stores now, guess that is to take away the pressure from the UK store and customize the pages for the different languages. Maybe that is why they increased the stock allocated to the Euro market? They should have them for sale on all online stores as the Euro market generally shares the stock allocated to them so the Sweden store should also have the doll available.

Good luck in trying to purchase them tonight!

open on the 22th November. It opened 3 days
too early. I will have my eyes on both the UK site and the Swedish one :3 It is a
shame though that they are not selling pins. I hope they will expend on them
soon

Honestly... That is pathetic...

I'm not even sure if I want to spend $100 on it. I spent $30 on the 12" doll set and they are worth more than this piece of disappointment.

I was stunned by how detailed those 12" dolls were.

I can't tell you if the Swedish site will be selling the LE dolls, but it is run by the same group that runs the Italian and Danish sites (same IP address) and images of the dolls have been uploaded.

Looks like there's a Belgian one too (Antwerp) and Irish, but if you want to shop, it redirects to the UK website

I think she's worth the $100...... Her cape still looks beautiful even if there's less snowflakes. Is anyone going to try going to the store? I'm impatient and I don't want to wait for shipping so I'm leaning more towards getting my dolls from the store. How early are any of you getting to your local store? I was thinking 7-7:30.... WTH? There's no way that's true. The latest they could have possibly received them is today. I don't know why they'd be so secretive about it, either.
