my husband volunteered to go to the store and get me the dolls. should I order online in case he isnt successful and risk getting a damanged box?!
 
Squeeeeee! I'm so excited!! My fiance keeps teasing me but he is willing to get up at 5:30 after staying up with me until 2 to wait in line for one of the three our store is getting if I'm not successful online tonight!!
 
I just want to let you know that you should check with your individual store, as mine is again doing a raffle. They haven't distributed the dolls first come, first served in a while. Yes, I am talking about the 17" LE dolls! It is up to the store and mine has decided that they feel the raffle is more fair. Eric and Ursula were both done as raffles at my store. Please check everyone!

the two stores closest to me are not having raffles. the closer store (still 40 minutes away) will have 4 dolls and the farther store (an hour) will have 8. AHHHHHHHH! do I get online or try for a store... if so, which store?! I have to be at work tomorrow, so my husband will have to do it for me... ugh.

Also UK site doesn't sell only in UK, but also for countries, like belgium for exemple, because so far, i think italy and france don't ship to other countries. But UK Site is also shipping for other european countries.

Now , maybe the snow queen tale is better known in europe than in the US? i don't know. or maybe , The little mermaid, LE sold so well in europe they decide to increase for european the stock?

That is fair and I am aware of those points but I am merely pointing out that that is an option. Obviously people within the Euro continet would rather buy from their site but to be honest I have no sympathy when it comes to shipping costs and customs because I have to pay those regardless of which store I buy from and really no matter what people say about the UK store being able to ship to an European store the point I am trying to make is that the ability to still order from the US store is there. So if people want something enough they will pay for it just like those around the world that paid for and were able to get the Harrods exclusive set.

So I am not saying that the UK store only caters to the UK market as I am very much aware that they ship all around Europe. All I am saying is that they are more limited to where they will ship compred to the US store which would still ship to the Euro market as well. If Disneystore US did what the UK did and didn't ship to the countries that have their own dedicated site so the European continet then that would be a completely different story.

Anyway I just hope that everyone that wants to get the dolls tonight are able to get them so wishing everyone luck especially those buying from the US store as i do believe the dolls will sell out relatively fast. Not as fast as Ursula and Eric did but still fast enough that if you aren't ready for the release you may miss out.
 
I'm so nervous! What's everyone's plan of action? I'm debating buying Elsa first then Anna as I want Elsa more and am so nervous about one selling out before I can add/checkout with both! Such silly things to be worked up about!! Haha

I would try it online first and if it doesn't work, go to the store

I am considering doing this too, have you done this before? Like with Ursula and Eric? Just wondering if it slows down the delivery process because they have two dolls they need to ship out or if it doesnt make a difference?

As we saw with Ursula and Eric, Eric was sent out first and the followed by Ursula who was sent out the next day. Thing is when I ordered them I ordered them separately but did anyone order them together in the one order? If so did this affect your shipping in anyway? What I just worry about is that it will either slow down my shipping, or my order will not be fulfilled until they finish all the single orders first, or that they will put two of the same dolls in my order instead of one of each?

I ordered them together :) They shipped out the same way, separately.

Ahh really? So even though you ordered them in the same order they still shipped them separately? Did you get the same tracking number or different tracking numbers for each doll? I guess no matter how you order it then it wouldn't matter LOL.

My Ursula and Eric were also ordered together. They shipped separately with different tracking numbers. Actually at first they were the same tracking number, but then it changed online to two separate numbers en route. They showed up four days apart because of the weekend. I think it takes longer to complete two purchases than it does to add a different doll to the cart and check out. For me the check-out process is the longest part of the whole thing. Well other than the months we've been waiting to buy these girls!
 
Yep, they send them on the same order, but separately. I'm not risking the backup online order ever again, so I just plan to go to the store early and sit outside. If 4 people are in front of me, I'll try another store. If I'm out of luck everywhere, oh well. I'll be sad, but not as sad as being stuck with 2 sets. I actually enjoy my TLM dolls less because I have extras. Don't really understand why, though.

yes they said to no worry, that the guests will be happy , they will have more than the Little mermaid LE doll. can't wait to be tomorrow and get my doll

I also purchased and Eric & Ursula together and thankfully had no issues. I was going to do one at a time, but decided to go for it and all was well. :) They still shipped separately though and arrived on different days.
 
true but its so much quicker and easier if your info is all there, with out having to type it all in.....i hate the fact theyre always doing this - sooo annoying. the uk site has soo many issues with logging in all the time, espesh before limited edition releases. :(
 
I was feeling pretty optimistic about getting the dolls until I found out that the numbers for the US had been reduced. I have no store near me and now have to compete with doll lovers from all over the world. I am really wishing that I lived in the UK right now. You guys have great pin releases, the Harrods set, and a pretty high doll allocation (when compared to the number of people competing). I hear a lot of complaints from the UK end of things and I guess this time the rolls are reversed. My wish is that most of the dolls in all of the countries go to collectors. I really hope the Designer Ariel and LE Ursula and Eric scenarios don't happen again. In my honest opinion, these dolls will be sold out in 20 minutes here in the US. Good luck everyone...just a few more hours!
 
I'm so torn, I tired calling ALL of the disney stores around me and ask how many dolls they were each getting so I can plan properly but no one knows the exact number until tomorrow -.-

anyone else have this problem? haha
