So not only did DPF crash for me, after I got them both in my cart and checking out, I spazzed and spilled water on on my laptop! So I had to get on my phone! I swear, this has stressed me out beyond any release!! Haha. Thank you for the links!!! Now I have a broken Macbook but (hopefully) Anna and Elsa!
 
I was refreshing my order before the site crashed and was never able to see if it went from placed to active. I hope everything goes through ok. I have not been able to check the status. Yes, you can say that. However, if the order is canceled, Disney will send you an email later that says it was canceled. What you should keep an eye out is for the Blast Off Email with your tracking number. Then you know for sure you'll have them :)

Maybe when they get a rush of buyers they mark as sold out, but then let it renew and come back up? Because I can still add them to the cart and start checking out. I haven't fully checked out so I don't know if it will let you buy them, but it looks promising. I was going to be surprised if they were really a sell out SO fast. Even with the low number. I thought they would last an hour at least.
 
I don't know why but I'm irrationally upset about the forum crashing right when the dolls were released! It just makes me think, where did this flood of people come from? I guess I'm just reeling from the anxiety. I need to give myself a break, I'm getting too emotionally invested in these dolls. Argh.

On the bright side, I'm immensely happy that just about everyone found their links one way or another. That's what it's really all about. :)
 
I'm so nervous now......they look to be sold out.....I placed my order at 12:13 but I feel like I should also try at the store because I don't wanna miss out all together, just in case:( I so didn't think they were going to sell out that fast!

Someone in the other thread mentioned the dolls that got accidentally sold earlier were 60GBP - this might help
 
I'm also not happy about the forum crashing. And it was weird how the Disney store made me enter my address like a guest even though I was logged in. Strange night.
 
Not happy about this release. Looks like I'll be getting mine on eBay. I was hoping to get them Friday but I don't think it's going to happen.

I can at least hold out hope for the fact that Ariel has been going for only $150 on eBay, so if Ariel only goes for that much then I should be able to get these two at a somewhat reasonable price after the initial hype is gone.
 
If you can get into the disneystore site, you can still add to the bag if you keep clicking on the button. I'm not sure if the order would still *actually* go through, and not be cancelled, but I don't think it's really sold out yet, as people who did this for the DFTC sets managed to get dolls after it had 'sold out' the first time.

If it has sold out, that's crazy for dolls that could have a crap movie (I don't think that's going to happen, but it's still a theoretical possibility). I can only chalk this up to the fact that the US got less dolls. Hopefully, disneystore will increase the edition sizes after this. I don't really think this is fair to the average person who wants these dolls, but doesn't have the computer savvy to know about the early links. Selling out before the links are searchable is not cool.

Also, we do need to do something about the crashing forum. It was actually worse this time than on DFTC Ariel release doll; if I wasn't going after the UK links instead of the US ones, I would have been screwed as I didn't manage to get into the thread for a good 5-10 minutes. Would making a members only thread help?
 
Anyone who missed it -- TRY NOW!!!! I was just able to put Elsa in my cart again but stopped just short of entering my card ID # so I think it may be working again.

Sold out in US, taxes are the same, it'll be $17.49-ish (and change) for CA residents (at least So Cal residents)

A lot of people lurk on these boards and hope to find links as well. Every time their is a doll release the website gets flooded.
I just hope we all have our dolls. :)
