Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
This is my recept of order. Like i've said, at 9:15-18 the dolls cost Euro 70 (the 60£, the RIGHT price).

Now they are up to 90€... i hope is an error. This is a shame! The first time so much BUGS happened in all disney sites!

I am so nervous!!! Why this???

Ah, good on you! I have another 10 years left for my Doctorate's.
And no, no dolls for me. Just going to assume that life told me that i should save that money for another time.

Good for you, you are so positive. I keep trying to tell myself the same thing . . . but I got really depressed when I went on Ebay and saw a ton of listings for the dolls already. They are not crazy expensive on there, so MAYBE I can get some for a decent price. Now I am REALLY hoping that Disney sells another Frozen 17 inch doll when the movie is released. I guess I should be happy about the dolls have have been able to get in the past, like my Little Mermaid ones since I mainly collect Little Mermaid stuff.

I always buy more than I planned. Good luck tomorrow!

The price increase in the UK is not a mistake. It was only announced yesterday, after the dolls were already shipped with £60 price tags. So they have had to remove the prices. Obviously the stores with the £60 stickers have not removed them yet or not read the message. I was in Oxford street and they have removed all the price stickers from the dolls. The dolls WERE originally made and shipped at £60, this was a very last minute change obviously, so some stores may have not realised yet.
I think it's ridiculous to up the price that much at the last minute.

It's a shame that they change the price without any notice !

Did anyone know when exactly did the dolls sell out on US site? And I feel very sorry for all the Europe buyers first, we got the news that they are sending more dolls to EU market ( which I feel like they noticed that market- good sign), and then now....... Feels like they noticed that market TOO WELL....... It's really unfair

Wow that is so wrong of Disney to do something like that. They cannot even justify the price increase! What is going on with the Frozen release and the UK seems like the Disney Store UK boss just loves frozen so much that they have gone crazy over the merchandise! Sorry to those that missed out in the UK due to the price hike!

Has anyone had any luck on the phone to DS UK? I've been on hold for what seems like forever. What on earth happened to Disney's customer service this year?! It's been atrocious.

If you want anything done you should put it on Facebook. Honestly check out the other comments, people email and call all the time but get nowhere. As soon as you post on Facebook they answer as they don't like bad comment being public. Just my 2p from what I've read on there.

It's bad when you consider another member on here went into a UK store and paid £60 per doll.

If I didn't have a 20% off voucher I honestly wouldn't have bought the dolls at £80 each. I'm still shocked Disney did this. It's not justified at all.

Thanks for the picture of your receipt Mel. It may help those of use trying to get the difference refunded

well it should be clear across the board....why should we have to pay more but the other sites such as usa, italy pay less.....dont get me wrong, its great if you got them for the cheaper price, but i just think its unfair across the board - its not like the uk dolls come with anything extra...or are different in any way! Theyve changed nothing about them, so how can they justify a price hike like that, and just for us????

In Italy after 9:25 they changed the price as well. Now ALL the european sites have them for 80£ - 90 €.

Really, i have no more words.

Well I couldn't wait to see if I would receive a shipped out e-mail. So I called Disney and YAY! so happy my order did go through.

About Disney raising the price of the dolls is just one more thing that even though it doesn't directly affects me(well for now) it bugs me. Though I'm happy to buy Elsa, I did felt a little down about the whole thing this week. Starting with Harrods doll set. And even if those didn't existed, it wouldn't change the fact that Disney didn't went all out on the single dolls. Then how stressful is getting to get the dolls. And some other little things here and there that are not making this a magical experience :/. I would prefer if Disney would stop with the limited editions and just sell dolls for the sole purpose of making people happy. This is just my feelings and probably due to too much doll hunting lol

Well - as much as it pains me I am so disgusted with disney and their price hike I have cancelled my order!!! Disgusting!! why oh why is there a price hike - there is nothing extra we get? boxes are the same? Ariel was £60..... I think they just want to cash in!! I feel everyone should pay the same, so have cancelled and told them words to that effect! Not happy at all! Money grabbing disney again!

That's not air that they changed the prices, but here in France at 9:15am it was 90 and I agreed to it, but they sent me an invoice and showed our tax on it. It's true the TVA is quite high-

Honestly I got her. I know she's had the priced raised but I'm sure it's better than shell sell on the aftermarket.

And I looked and there appear to still be Elsa's Available on the French DS.

I'm also considering cancelling. Saw the £20 price increase but thought that I'd order first then have a think. I don't want to miss out as I collect them, but I really do not want to pay £160. Imagine what else you can do with that money. It's seriously making me think about the future of my collection. It's always been all or nothing for me. I could miss these, but then what if next years are also £80.
