me too - ive always been a loyal collector, but the fact we are paying more when the dolls are exactly the same is disgusting, and comes down to pure greed. I have cancelled and am putting the money towards a new xbox for my sons xmas - I'd rather see his face full of smiles on xmas then looking at those dolls and feeling a horrible feeling in my stomach....if we are not all paying the same I dont want to part of it.....im so sad today :(

she said they were at the picking stage so if ur going to cancle do it sooner rather than later - I asked them to refund me the difference, so i was paying £60 but they refused saying they cant!
So...I cancelled.

probably in europe!!! pfft - thats if they dont hike up the price again!!! When I asked how a price like that can be justified when we are buying the same product, she said she didnt know - they never seem to know anything!!!! im going to go and de-stress.....so annoyed!
 
The way I look at it is that we paid £60 for Ariel and co who are much more well known and £100 for the DFDC which yes these dolls are bigger but you cannot argue with some of the detail gone into the couples.

These dolls really are not worth the extra £20 especially when other prices in the world haven't increased its a bit of a smack in the face.

I saw that on FB that's another to add to the list along with Harrods. I wonder if they got any of these dolls? It kinda makes me mad that my store don't stock any LE merch yet a third party franchised store (think that's the best way to describe) will probably get it all.
 
Wow, I a so sorry for our European friends and this whole price increase fiasco. Certainly not fair. I really home this is not a permanent increase and something can be done to rectify the situation. Big hugs and pixies :hugs:

The 'Disney Store' in John Lewis is literally just a corner of the kids' floor that has Disney Store merchandise and a Sulley statue. It's not an individual store, there's nothing dividing it from the rest of the store and it doesn't have a whole lot of merchandise, it's just a few walls and tables of stuff. And there are none of the Frozen LE dolls there.
 
My boyfriend and I are first in line at our store. We got here at 6am. Our store has 5 dolls and currently there are 5 people in line, but my boyfriend is still unsure about getting them.
 
I'm really suprised DS UK haven't announced this release on their Facebook page today. They're probably too scared :D
 
Good Morning guys! Sorry to hear about the European price hiked up! First, they accidentally release the Elsa earlier on the UK site but now they raised it up? That's crazy! But I'm glad to those who were willing to get them still. I'm just almost at the mall that I'll be getting the dolls at. Hopefully only like one or two people that's gonna be there. I'll keep updating as well.

I've cancelled my order for both dolls. I did have the money for them but I really can't see how they can justify £20 increase for each doll. Perhaps it's because they know people will pay a lot more on ebay so they cash in on it a bit. I'm a little disappointed as I've bought every LE doll since the Wedding Rapunzel. If they were £60 I would have been really happy right now. Or if they had something extra that made them worth £80, and we knew from the start they'd be £80 then I wouldn't be so disappointed. It's just we all know they were meant to be £60, but suddenly they decided to rip off European customers :( I too noticed they haven't announced them on facebook. They would be flooded with negative comments.

- Okay soo I'm at the mall right now & there's already 5 people here :[ but at least they're the hardcore doll collectors that I know. & they all recognized me right away & said awwwe you did came!! & we started having our conversations right away. I had a feeling there would be a lot of people anyways. But I'm hanging out with them right now. Plus I wanted to get a couple of vinylmations while I got the planes coupon. I mean I gotta hope they might have one more still & now I gotta think of something else to get for my sister. Soo I'm still happy that coming here wasn't a complete waste :D
 
They are now sold out online. I pulled up the link first thing this morning to send to my husband so he could buy it for me for Christmas and Anna was still available then. He just looked and it's sold out now. It sold out on our way to work. Go figure I try to be good and wait to get it for Christmas instead of going online at midnight to buy it myself and this is what happens! Oh well. Congrats to anyone who's getting them.
