I am in the US and ordered the Harrods set in Nov and had it shipped to me it was £505 total including shipping (only £5 over retail because they deduct the VAT) which at the time was about $800USD

Mine came to 505 also two days ago.

That sounds about right, when I ordered my set it worked out to be about AUD$900 which is about USD$800 also my shipping was more expensive as it was £120 so the set ended up costing me about £530 including shipping compared to the cheaper shipping to the US resulting in the cheaper total cost of £505. Hope all this info helps anyone trying to get the set. Sounds like they are almost sold out though.

Thank you! I hope they are released the same day too for the pre-order and am crossing my fingers that they do lithos

I love how theres an anna doll on amazon for 3000 bucks... thats disgusting. I thought ebay was bad

Amazon is always higher than eBay in terms of pricing.

Thank you! I hope they are released the same day too for the pre-order and am crossing my fingers that they do lithos

im pretty confident we will get lithos. Looking forward to this release!

I called the one in Chula Vista...I've been going there for years and they've usually been really nice but I don't know, lately they've been really rude and not DISNEY

I'm was extremely surprised to find out that the are very few Limited Edition Elsa dolls around Ebay and that their prices are extremely high! One seller is selling her for $850 and another one for $795. One is currently in an auction and its price at the moment is $460 ! If I have known back then she was going to cost that much, I would have picked an extra one to trade it for a LE Snow White doll lol!

Hey there! It looks like we started on the same boat! I too, started finding about these Disney limited edition dolls last summer & thank goodness too cause I only love The Little Mermaid & Aladdin. Cause I have all three of the little mermaid LE dolls & the Ariel & Eric & Aladdin & Jasmine fairytale designer sets. Soo thank goodness Frozen isn't one of my top movies but I was sad that I couldn't get the previous Elsa for my sister cause she loved her from the whole movie. Personally my favorite character is Olaf but that's a different story ;] lol. Sadly though, I wasn't quick enough to discover about the Disney designer princess & villain set & could've got Ursula, Jasmine, & Ariel at retail price. Since I started working for the Disney story back in Nov. 2011. It was because I worked in a Disney outlet store & they usually don't get limited edition items.

Anyways, some good advices is if you have a nearby Disney store, be sure to be there early or ask if they're giving away those number "cards" in order to get one. Cause it is first come first serve with these dolls. Plus I'm pretty sure it is also one doll per person & hopefully you get one of each. I do not know why some stores did that last time cause I know both of the stores in Calgary, you could get either or both. Plus I'm pretty sure you get those cool cardholders to keep your receipts in for the pre-sales. I know I kept mine when Ariel was released cause they asked me if I wanted to keep it & was like HECK YEAH! I'll post some pics of it of what it looked like. But I'm 100% sure they will have some for second versions of both Anna & Elsa when they do pre-orders. If you're ordering online, be prepared to have your funds & the time ready to do so. Plus make sure you're on the right timezone for the release. Good luck on getting them! :]

It's good to be back in the Disney collectors part of this forum again! I was getting a little carried away & getting into the addiction of Disney pins. But now that I got the hang of it, it's time to see the news of the second versions of Elsa & Anna! Pretty bummed about not getting Elsa for my sister for Christmas but hopefully I'm able to get a hold of Elsa this time around for my sister. Plus hopefully get Anna for one of the prizes I'm doing at our work Plus these dolls are stunningly beautiful. I wouldn't be surprise if Elsa would be in the top rank as Snow White in the line of LE dolls.

Plus for people for who lives in the Calgary area:

Southcentre Mall: 20 of each Anna & Elsa*

Market Mall: 10 of each Anna & Elsa*

*Numbers might change depending if they're gonna put a couple aside for the cast members

What kind if email do you get when you preorder online? Like to let me know I'm def going to get a doll?

They send you a normal order confirmation email providing you an order number and details of what you ordered. Just like the normal ones that you receive when you order from the store. The only difference is that you don't get the blast off email until the order is shipped on release date in march. Details about the status of order can be found on the informative thread....I think. If not I'll add it shortly just having dinner lol

Yeah I was looking through it but didn't see anything about the emails. Oh man, it's going to be a long wait to know for sure.

Sorry about that, will update the thread shortly and will let you know on here.

to answer you question when you order you will get an order number. You can then check the status of your order on the Disney store website using the order number or in your order history if you ordered whilst logged in to your account.

there are three different status that can appear on your order
Active - order is still active in the system meaning your order has gone through and everything is ok, it will stay at this status up to the point that the item is shipped and the tracking number is provided to you.
Closed - when your order is completed and the blast off email is sent and you have a tracking number for your order this is the status your order will be in. Please note this doesn't guarantee your order has shipped yet as Disney has a tendency to print the labels and then say it's shipped so the labels could still be sitting in the warehouse hence why sometimes when you track your shipping it just says the label has just been created.
Cancelled - this is when your order is cancelled either due to you calling to cancel or payment not going through resulting in the cancellation or a result of an over sale where more orders were made than the number of stock available. This is very common with LE items.

Hope this helps!

Thanks! I will remember this!

I noticed this too. Clearly she is more popular. The Anna dolls I have seen from the first release are actually kid of fair in the pricing in a few bids, but Elsa is just insane.

Here are the Ariel pre-sale receipt holders:
Thats really cool.

Indeed! Snow Queen Elsa is definitely reaching "grail" doll status. It's always hard to predict what will be a hit with the public. I've mentioned it before that I think that it is a combination of things: the lower LE size (esp. the reduced percentage of the dolls in the North American DS market) which makes her more rare in the USA, the fact that she has a lot of glitz and glamor to her look which appeals to more people visually, and also Elsa is a tortured soul and I think a lot of people can relate to the feelings of isolation and the hurt of loneliness.

That said, I don't think that Coronation LE Elsa will reach "grail" doll status, or at least not anywhere near as quickly. I feel that the resellers will pounce all over her in attempt to cash in on her (as they did with LE Ariel, LE Ursula, LE Prince Eric, and DFDC Ariel & Eric) and will then flood the secondary market with "dead" merchandise, which will force them to lower their prices in the long-run until available stock reduces to very low quantities. Coronation LE Elsa is a LE 5000 so I think that a lot of people who want her will get her from the pre-orders. Also, her Coronation look, though intricate and pretty, does not hold a candle to her Snow Queen look.

Is anyone starting this group on Facebook? If not I can set it up now and then post the name of the group on here if you like?

Hey guys I created a group, DPF Disney Limited Edition Collectors

It is by invite online and only people within the group can read posts. I can add you by email if you like, just pm me your email and ill add you. From there you can then invite others who you believe are true collectors as well and would need the info

I didnt specify it as dolls because I wanted to leave the thread open to any LE Disney items and not just the dolls but I guess it will just predominantly be about dolls though
