Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information

I'm astounded at the prices the frozen dolls are going for. I've seen at least 2 end today at around £310 that's over $500 I'm very tempted to sell mine if that's what they are going for. I need money to fund my holiday but I'm undecided. Well their price ever come down do you think?

I've seen a few go for over £300 and I was tempted to sell mine to! I mean you could get £300 and then pay £60 for the coronation Elsa in March and have the rest towards a holiday or save towards the Sleeping beauty dolls or something. But I'm undecided because the Sq Elsa is nicer than the coronation but then the extra money would be nice too lol. But the Sq Elsa is my favourite of all the LE dolls and is very special and will probs go up in value and I know I would regret selling so I don't think I could sell her.

So many characters I would love to see 17" dolls for. Pocahontas, Meg, Esmeralda, Hercules, Hades, Dr. Facilier, Naveen, Charlotte, Eugene, Triton, Vanessa, Mulan, Walt, Aladdin, Jasmine, Jafar, I wont include any from Sleeping beauty because I really think we will see them (Aurora, Philip and Maleficent), I really doubt they wont do them, I will be heart broken if they dont. I would die for a doll of Athena!

Once of my fantasy lineups for dolls would be Disney Parents Designer Dolls, it would be amazing to see dolls of Rapunzel's parents, Ariel's, Mulan's, Tiana's and Aurora's ♥♥♥, I would faint if Disney announced this, I have been wanting them so bad. A girl could dream....

I would really love a Jane doll, Tarzan is one of my favourite Disney films and is so often overlooked. I think a 17 inch Jane could look awesome!

I think a Jane doll would be great too. The style in clothing is different and I think would be great as part of the 17" doll lineup. I agree, Tarzan does get overlooked. Hopefully we will see more Tarzan in the future

I really hope Maleficent comes in a black box with green or purple edging and the crow on the front and then I would love the forbidden mountain or the forest of thorns as her backdrop! I would be pretty confident that she is not going to be in blue but in pink. For a numerous amount of reasons but I think deep down most of us know that. We should be getting info on the doll by mid to late July as it will be released for preorder around the end of July like Ariel was last year. So I guess the good news is that we dont have to wait until October to find out more information about the doll but the bad news is that we will still have to wait until July to get some information and that is still about 6 months away.

Pink is my favourite colour but I have always preferred Aurora in blue, especially because it's rare to get her in blue nowadays! But with Cinderella, Elsa,Alice etc all in blue it will be nice to have one doll in pink as it will really pop. And really we don't have any decent LE of Aurora at all! I will be very Surprised if Aurora comes in blue. I love the pink dress though, just hope her hair and face are film accurate! And she has her castle as the background(my fav disney castle.

I truly hope they don't try and incorporate elements from Elle fannings Aurora dress with the cartoon Auroras. Like they did with Alice!

Yes, Yes, Yes! Amen to this! We need more Charlotte merchandise! I have been praying and hoping for at least pins since I don't see them releasing anything else. She is such a lovable character and my personal favorite from the movie. I really hope they release a 17" doll of her in the future, she would look stunning!

I keep telling myself, "You'll only get Aurora!" But Aurora and Phillip are my favorite couple and Maleficent is my favorite Villain (she and the Evil Queen). There goes the money I'm saving for Rapunzel and Tiana.

I'm still hoping for Aurora in blue AND pink!. Like in the Couture de Force figurine. Although she's probably still going to be in pink.


Yesterday when I was eating dinner my father came and asked me if I wanted to sell my Elsa from last year. I literally just spit out the water I was drinking. (like in cartoons lol). I was like, "I buy these Dolls because I love them! No way am I ever going to sell her!" My parents know very well I'm going to be buried with these Dolls and they want to sell them. This is why I put all my beloved Princesses safe in my room only.

OMG! I would love a LE 17" Charlotte! She was also a favorite of mine in the movie, and I would buy a doll version of her in a heartbeat.

Well, here SQ Elsa is right at $600. And auctions for the November set is right at $1000. You could try selling her on the U.S. market I suppose.

When we bought the November set on a Japanese auction a few days ago for a lot less than what they're asking for on ebay (we got both girls for the price of one Elsa), my husband keeps joking with that he'll sell Elsa, because then it's like Anna was a freebie.

I said that if something were to ever happen to me he could sell the dolls to help him out financially if need be but he said he wouldnt do that because he knows how important they are to me so couldnt bring himself to sell them which I thought was really sweet. But knock on wood nothing happens and we wont ever have to cross that bridge.

Suddenly both my pre-orders for the Anna and Elsa LE dolls are active... (meaning 4 dolls)
When I pre-ordered I did two separate orders and the one placed at 00:07 was active and the one at 00:09 kept saying "can't be confirmed" for days - even wrote Disney, who told me that the dolls were probably sold out around the second order (which I knew they weren't - but at least my first order was active). Now suddenly today - 10 days later, the second order is active. o.0
The strangest thing is that after I ordered the dolls - the shipping address on the first order (the active one) was all jumbled up and in caps lock - where's the unconfirmed order was the right address, now after the unconfirmed order has turned active, that address has also turned into a jumble of caps lock.

That I also included when I contacted Disney (and included the right address in the e-mail), but they said that the address that was on my order was just like the one in the e-mail. Think next month I'll take a screen cap of my online order and send them, just to make sure that they won't send my dolls to a half finished address in Japan.

Aaah... all this pre-order stress.

Wow how did you get your order through in 7 seconds? and the other in 9? Did you order two sets with both orders having both dolls in the order? If so you must have been super fast to be able to add both dolls to your cart and check them both out within 7 seconds? That is faster than the load time of the pages LOL, then again Japan has some of the best internet speed compared to the rest of the world.

Yeah I wouldn't read in to it too much if you got your order through in less than 10 seconds then they are a shoe in as the dolls didnt sell out until about the 40 minute mark.

I know the wait is stressful but this is always the case with the dolls. All you can do now is wait until they are shipped and hope that they are not lost or damaged after being shipped.

I wasn't in Japan either - ordered them from Denmark. But the page was smooth, no major problems of loading time. I was nervous about the page freezing, because I read all the horror stories from the previous LE dolls (mostly the previous Frozen dolls and the major problems of the designer dolls). I thought it would be a battle, since it was my first LE. But after the two orders I just kept waiting for them to sell out - which is why I thought it was strange when Disney said that the dolls probably were sold out during my second order. Also since I heard people who ordered after me having active orders.

Guess I'll just see how it turns out. Just want to confirm the address thing with them again before they ship in March.

But your order should be going to the address that you entered during check out.

The address was correct in the confirmation e-mail - guess it's just the newbie nerves, since it's my first pre-order.

And yes, the Disneystore have seemed to improve. My husband and I tried accessing the Disney page around 7 hours before the release of the dolls (to make sure everything were set up), at that time the page was extremely slow, not showing up and freezing, so we suspected that they were getting the server ready for the big load that would hit them later. Also just around the 00:00 mark, the page slowed down a bit, but nothing major. Nothing like I feared at all.
Hope it'll go as smooth the next time.
