Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
Hey, the bottom one could be used for a Christmas card! Very pretty.

I found this it is from boxart of a new 'palace pet' raccoon for Pochaontas

She has a new dress!! I quite like it!

Her 17" LE could have similarities to this image perhaps? Anyway YAY for some new Pochaontas art

Is it bad my first thought was, PEETA THOSE ARE BAD BERRIES.

Anyway, the outfit is alright but I don't understand why all their pets are crazy colors with sparkles and jewels. I guess it's not enough for princesses to have an ordinary pet haha (and kids like it better).

I love the palace pets, they made some deluxe versions with rooted eyelashes and they sing. Designer pets, LOL.

It feels like forever until we see a sneak peek of Aurora....

The Palace Pets are Adorable!! Had to use it as my avatar =)

Yea, how to pass the time until Aurora makes her grand entrance!! Sigh...

That's rubbish that is. (Meaning not fair) we can return limited edition stuff here in the uk!
I know! I would think they could send it to the outlets to sell or at an end of the year sale or something. Oh well, I guess it's taught me to not buy something unless I really love the character.

So I'm guessing the answer to my question will be no, but does anyone know how long you can return something to the Disney Store? I bought the 17'' Ursula when she came out and I really regret it and don't like her at all. The thing is mine came with a damaged screen and she's not going too much above retail on the second market. I feel like if I try to sell her I'll get even less because of the creases in her plastic screen so I thought I'd return her if I could. Any idea? I'm guessing it's too late.

Did you get a discount when you got it damaged?

I did bookhugger, but at that point I still wanted her. I just decided to only collect the princess 17'' dolls. She's on eBay now, so hopefully she'll go to someone who will like her.

I was able to return LE Merida a couple of years ago. She was from an online order and I ended up with two. They refunded me with no problems. I did have to pay return shipping. The biggest problem is just that it's been too long. The DS doesn't give you very long to get a return shipped back. I tried to return the defective Small World France doll (it wouldn't sing once we took her out of the box) and they said that 30 days was too long for a return or exchange. I wonder if the return policy has changed since Merida was released.

Hello! I am new to collecting the Disney LE dolls and wanted to introduce myself. I just discovered the 17" dolls and the world of Disney doll collecting with the March Frozen dolls. I lucked out and got the two second-to-last dolls available at the Times Square store about 5pm the day of the preorder.(I'd just heard about them that day.) I have since purchased the Nov Elsa doll on Ebay at a ridiculous price, but I have to say I don't regret it at all as she is so beautiful. I would like to get Coronation Anna next to complete the Frozen collection and then look on to maybe getting some of the other dolls. I don't have much room in my tiny apartment, so I will probably just focus on a few favorites. However, I am really looking forward to a possible Sleeping Beauty doll later this year. Anyway, hello to everyone!

I'm getting obsessed with these LE dolls, before Christmas I had none, just some of the designer dolls but I now have Ariel,Ursula,Sq Elsa, blonde Rapunzel, Cinderella and hoping to get Anna in March and obv the Sleeping beauty ones:)

My whole doll obsession didn't start before the beginning of January - so in one month I got: Ariel, Anna (Nov & March), Elsa (Nov & March) and Cinderella. Then two designer dolls and 3 fairytale sets XD
It's great you got your hands on Rapunzel even though you started collecting recently. For me she's too expensive... :( Same goes for the rest of the "17 princess dolls.

I love Rapunzel's gown best (followed closely by Snow's), but I like Elsa and Snow's face more. And then there are the brilliant but oft overlooked Tiana and Mother Gothel, both of whom have really amazing gowns and details.
I just can't wait for Aurora! Especially her hair. I've always loved how she was drawn with such luscious, thick untied hair- I really hope it looks amazing.

Anyone notice that all the classic/ren princesses (except Snow) so far have open mouth smiles, and all the newer characters (Tiana -> ) have closed mouths?

I actually did notice that. I wonder why that is. I wish they all had closed mouth smiles. Most collectors I know prefer closed mouth smiles too. I think kids are the only ones who might prefer the open mouth smiles, but most collectors aren't kids.

This is kind of random..but...OH MY LANTA!!!! I remember looking at the LE Snow Queen Elsa doll on eBay (probably less than a month ago), and thinking, JEEZ, do I really want to pay *about* $400 minimum? Nah, I'm getting Coronation Elsa, and to be honest, if each of them had a value of $5, I would have picked Coronation Elsa still. However, I was just looking at listings on eBay, and Snow Queen Elsa is now legitimately going for A GRAND (that's right, $1,000!) on a regular basis. Everybody is entitled to spend their hard earned money on whatever they want. But, I would almost feel sinful spending that much on one doll. How can someone even enjoy a doll that they are probably in fear of breaking, denting the box, etc? Sorry for my rant, but it's kind of like, hmmm...let me see..buy almost a car..or a doll...LOL

I think there are really nice dolls with both open and closed mouth smiles. For example I do not like the classic Tianas with open mouth smiles, while I found the mini versions with open mouth smiles really cute . But it' s a matter of taste. :)
