Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information

I love her more after this video, seeing her more realistically — instead of seeing her on a stock photo where she's posed to be "perfect" – but I do agree with a few things lordofanime said.

I especially agree with the hair. It looks like her hair is just too thin and I'm still not so sure about the glitter going through her locks, it has a childlike vibe. I would've loved more curls.

And I mostly agree with the price and that Snow White and Alice are the sort of dolls Disney should try to make more. I still like Aurora but when I first saw her I couldn't help but think Disney rushed it. I'm not sure why. I'm already pissing my pants thinking about the price in Europe, too. It hurts my wallet to just live in Europe and I'm afraid I won't able to justify these dolls' prices anymore.

Thinking of attending D23 for the first time next year! I know D23 members receive special pricing - can you purchase multiple tickets at the pricing or is it one ticket per membership?

You are entitled to buy 4 tickets for every D23 membership you have, on for yourself (or whoever the D23 member is) and an additional 3 for family/friends. Also there are two types of discounts you can get, D23 membership discounts and early bird discounts, the early you get your tickets the cheaper and when I mean earlier I mean that generally each couple of months the price will go up i.e it is cheapest to get the tickets from Aug -Dec, then it will increase from Jan-Jun and then a further increase from Jun to Aug. I think those were the dates, in addition to this you get even more discounted tickets if you are a D23 member.

Oh good, thanks

"Limit 1 per Guest" -> is this new? Does this mean there's no limit 1 per order anymore?

That's what I'm thinking. What does that mean?

If two people are living in the same address, can both of them order? Or will one get cancelled.

Shouldn't they go by credit card? If I buy one and my husband buys one (using his own credit card), that would be per guest. I would prefer that to people going back and continuing to order until they sell out. Admittedly, some people have lots of credit cards they could use. I only have two. I only plan to purchase one. I don't scalp and I don't buy one to debox. Too expensive.

two cents about the doll.

i actually think she looks really gorgeous and urgh, love her box. :c buuuuut, and this is more of a personal thing, but the disparity between the colors of her corset thingy and the skirt of the dress hakes it look like she has a fancy top on and then a long skirt.

like... there is no incorporation of the hot pink into the light pink.

but that's a personal thing. and i briefly read all the comments on the designers of the dolls and yes, these dolls must take a lot of work and revision and they are not always going to be everyone's cup of tea. however, i do think criticism is good in a way because then perhaps they can take it and improve on the dolls in some way.

They go by account and address, depending on the limits. I buy two of the same items through me and my mother's account (e.g. pins) with our only credit card all the time and it never gets cancelled.

Honestly, in my opinion, it doesn't matter how Disney goes by this. Scalpers will always find a way, unfortunately.

Edit: now that I see some close ups, I'm not a big fan of the round stones just under her belt, where her skirt starts. But I still like her, I think I want to add her to my collection.

The collar just isn't as fitted as I hoped it would. The gemstones right below her belt are kinda unnecessary.
I will say this, this doll will most probably look stunning in person and she does stand out in that one video.

Honey lemon will be the second full on pink doll that well get and gogo tamago will look interesting since she'll be yellow.

I am glad they are finally limiting the number of dolls that a person can buy, it's about time the US caught up with this as this is exactly what Europe does already for pin releases.

I don't think that if released Honey Lemon would be an Heirloom doll but I would assume she would be in her armor so in pink as well. She does appear to be popular along with Baymax so I would rather they do a LE action figure of Baymax and a LE doll of Honey Lemon.

Not sure if they would do Gogo as a LE though, it would be cool but just because they are a female character doesn't necessarily mean that they will automatically have a LE doll made of them.

I agree I'm glad too!
Hopefully with the price increase and limit to one per guest the Aurora will be easier to get in the Uk than those March Frozen dolls lol.

Gotta say the more I see this doll, the more I love her! She's stunning.

It has been said by some CMs that DS.com in the USA was starting to go through orders and canceling them when it came to the in-demand Frozen merchandise, so I wouldn't be surprised if they implemented a similar tactic with an item that has an even more finite supply. Seriously, it cannot be that hard for their database to pull up a list of orders and identify that particular people are trying to buy like 10 of them or more each. Those situations generally would not be buying all of them to keep.

I'm just worried cause my cousin has instructed me to buy her a doll and I'm already getting one for my sister.
What do you guys think I should do? Both dolls are going to the same place with the same credit card. Should I use a different card or address? What about accounts?
Actually.... I would really appreciate it if the responses could be sent via pm. I'm sure we don't want this knowledge to be out.

I know how they do it. My intended meaning was that I THINK they should go by credit card instead of allowing people to come back order after order after order. However, I totally agree with you that scalpers would find way around any rule Disney installed. So in big scheme of things, it does not really matter what I think.

Thanks for the info!

Thinking of going to the store for a try this coming Monday - if the store opens at 10AM and from what I hear they may start passing out numbers at 9AM, how early do you guys normally get to the store?
