Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
Got up at 7, and arrived at the mall before 8. Wound up being second in line for the seventeen dolls. The line did fill out by ten, but I heard two were left.

I like her a lot more in person, but absolutely hate how much tinsel is in her hair and the way they parted it behind her neck.

She looks lovely, thanks for getting pics. Her face and dress are great. I'm usually so picky about Aurora and Cinderella dolls too, since Disney never make them look right.

but I agree about the tinsel. I kind of wish the sides of her window had more detail too, like Merida's did and that her hair wasn't parted.

My store had 11 pre-orders and I was the first in line!! The 11th person arrived JUST minutes before the store opened so it wasn't as crazy as some other stores I'm hearing here. I got there at like 7:30 thinking it'll be madness but the mall was empty.lol

I thought I would hate the tinsel tbh as I don't like it on the Rapunzel and while I have never seen Alice in person I don't like it on pictures but I actually like it on Aurora, it compliments her golden hair and the crown/necklace.

I really like how the dress is more of a re-imagining of her dress in the film, as I was worried it would be like Cinderella's, who to me, looks nothing like her character.

I know this sounds like a silly question, but can someone walk me through what the checkout it going to be like? You click checkout, then add the promo code (shipmagic), then click begin checkout. I haven't purchased anything online in a very long time and I sincerely don't remember. How many pages do you need to get through to be done? Also, what date will it hit accounts?

Hello everyone! Oh happy days!

It was the most pleasant outing for an LE doll I could ever imagine. I got there at 8:48AM, and was first in line. No one arrived until 9:40AM and even then only 3 people including me bought her!

By the time I left the mall at around 1:20PM they still had 3 left (we had 9 in total)

Woohoo

Was going to pre order from the US but decided to just wait and try and get her from the UK in October. My bf has said if I'm worried about ordering from the Uk site then he will book the day off work and we can go early to a store. Thinking travelling to a London store for her. Does anyone know when we will find out exactly which stores will have her? And those who go the stores in London what time do you have to be their for to be first in line?

I thought I was the only one who liked it. I thought the tinsel worked on the Aurora doll, it makes her hair more "sunshine gold."

Hey, just wondering, what does the promo code (shipmagic) do? I'm sorta new here and I don't remember using that in the past.

go and add something to your cart NOW and enter the code SHIPMAGIC. Then remove item from cart but the code will still be there.

May I ask which Disney store you went to? The closest Disney store to me is actually in the States, but the closest Canadian one is in Toronto. While I'm not purchasing Aurora, I've never bought a doll in store before and would love to know generally how the experience is (how many dolls the store usually gets, how busy it is, etc). I find that purchasing experiences can differ drastically between the States and Canada for certain things Also congrats on getting your doll pre-order!

I was disappointed, I actually tried to pre-order in store for the first time today, usually I can't because of work, but today it worked out but I could only show up a few minutes before 10, they were all sold out by then. I'm not sure how many my store got but I could only see numbers up to 9 I think. So I'll be going to bed shortly so I can wake up at 2:00 am to try online!

Good luck I will probably sit up to observe lol even if I'm not purchasing, I'm a nighthawk and I'm working on learning some sewing so I'll probably pop on just before she's released. If I find a link, I'll post it!

Had a bit of an adventure getting Aurora today - I've never seen the pre orders get super crazy at our store (I even managed to nab Coronation Elsa after 1 in the afternoon) but it turned out that vouchers for all the dolls had been handed out two hours before I showed up. Oops. But then a CM told me that another store had received the dolls too and I should call them in case they had any left. An hour of buses later I was able to get one of their last 4, phew! Not the most convenient location, but still better than shipping

I'm really glad Disney is switching the release order so people have a chance to get the doll in store before having to resort to online. It was a pain staying up to order from the site 'just in case', getting it from the store, and then going back to try and cancel the online order. I hope this is the case too for any future surprise releases as cancelling only works for pre-orders. It would be really, really, nice if they did that for Europe too on release day to ease some of the stress of getting one of those measly 500. It's literally the least they could do. (Does anyone know why Europe doesn't do pre-orders? )

You can actually walk through the entire process without processing an order, just go through the notions of checking an item out but then just cancel and do not hit the submit my order button at the end.

Hey, just wondering, what does the promo code (shipmagic) do? I'm sorta new here and I don't remember using that in the past.

As mentioned above it is a discount code for Free Shipping within the United Stated for order totals over $75 excluding discounts, tax and shipping e.g if your shipping makes your order go over $75 then it will not apply, the cost of the items must amount to $75 or more.

Thanks so much! I had no idea about the code. I'm so excited/nervous. Aurora will only be my second time buying a Limited doll and my internet keeps going out >.<
