I love this pic! :)

It's so weird though! I found it on facebook. I'm still refreshing the Disney store and it's not appearing in any sections. Wonder how they got it

Wouldn't we all like to know? Just like the european store, there some people had the link to the March Frozen dolls also much sooner :-/ Still think there's something not okay going on...

I got it as well !! Thanks for the link!! Super expensive tho.. And top that with custom fees the days he arrives .........

It was such a breeze, no lagging, nothing wrong with the site! Until this very moment it crashed, I guess the minute she appeared on the search it went crazy..

As soon as she wen't up online, the site slowed down so bad my computer would barely respond to it and the site crashed. If she is sold out, then I have missed yet another limited edition Sleeping Beauty collector item that I have wanted for TWO days in a row :(. I guess the lithographs will have to do until the blu-ray release date, when I can hopefully snag Maleficent before she sells out.

Yeah maybe they are assessing how many sold so far? That would be awfully quick!

Sadly, from my experience with these things (dolls and pins), it's not uncommon for them to sell out in minutes. I've never seen a pin or a doll that was really good and LE (unless there was a malfunction like the Frozen pin last year) make it past an hour since Ariel 17" last year. Also take into account that 5000 were not online, some will be released in the UK, most were and at least a good 1000-2000 were released in stores across the world so I wouldn't be shocked if only 1500-2000 were online tonight and that goes fast.

I didn't manage to get one yet, but I find it hard to believe she would have sold out so fast, even with the Frozen hype.
I'm hoping it's just a snag, and that she unavailable because the site was crashing. I was not even able to open up a disneystore webpage, too laggy.

Back online and orderable for me though so maybe they were checking how many were sold

That's what I was thinking. Just to make sure they don't oversell by accident? I dunno.

Well, technically, DS.com always saves about 50-100 of each doll that they don't sell in case 1 doll gets lost as a replacement, but those dolls that are there for backup are strictly not to be sold to anyone that does not have an existing problem with their doll being shipped. Those dolls almost ALWAYS are gone, so that just says how many orders DS.com messes up xD

Not for me...

Yeah... does look like I missed out. That's the first time, and I'm really not impressed. Now to try ebay I guess?

I would continue to try it if you havent ordered yet...but I just tried to see what happened when clicking and it says its sold out, even though the pre-order button is available
