*Facepalm* some of these facebook comments...'Oh no Disney, why did you have to post it this on FB , now more people will know and buy her to resell on ebay for triple the price'. That plants the idea in people's heads - if they didnt think/were not aware of that already they certainly would now...also that comment stays top and is seen first by people even casually glancing at the post because so many people clicked like on it... and..just...arrghhh

Great.. I plan to wait in line for her.. and the thought there will be people there just wanting to re sell her on ebay there will make me sick. & the chance that they will be able to pre order her, and I wont because of long lines.. is just.. I know for a fact it will make me lose it. We have to drive 50 minutes, get someone to watch my grandma because shes very ill with cancer, it's lucky i'm able to go.. and then to get there just to be disappointed. I don't care I will cry..
 

The more I sit and think about it, because she is a pre-order the scalping might be to a minimum because of the return on investment. Scalpers won't get that instant payment like they would with the Designer dolls(because you bought them and then picked them up). At least I hope!

She is such a beautiful doll. They have really captured the look of Ariel, as well as the movie, within her appearance.
 
Some people are complaining that this is too expensive and that their little daughters can't play with them now. Something about how the Disney store isn't fair to the middle class.... Do they not release that the doll is a limited edition made for collectors?
 
Apparently some people at the Disney store in my city thought she was being released on the 15th. They were lined up at 6:30am, and the store opens at 10:00am. :anxious:
 

Let them. I just see it as more dolls for those of us that really want them.
 
Wasn't keen on her at first but the picture on the rock Omg gorgeous! I don't no if to buy her now:/ I haven't bought any of the limited edition dolls just the designer ones, so was waiting on the couple set Ariel but this is WOW! She really needs to be opened though, she doesn't look as good in the boxed pictures x
 

You're spot on Matthew. I'm gonna see if I can find a display box, similar to the disney designer ones. If I can, then I am gonna try my luck and buy her. She looks absolutely stunning.

I started laughing at this, because Ariel does look like she has dropsy! But she's still beautiful ;_;
 
Man, now I'm torn; she looks better in the latest images than before. Guess it really is a matter of seeing her in person, and yet my local Disney Store won't let anyone see her till the 29th and I have to have my dad go to the Disney Store to pre-order her since I'll be in class! Don't want to lose money on this, so what do you guys think: should I try to buy her and if I don't like her, resell later? I just don't want to lose $100+ on her if I end up not liking her in person. :/
 
Love the picture her bra is so pretty and sparkly, it gives the illusions of the sun reflecting of a seashell type bra

People can be so stupid. This comment was made over and over again. What exactly is so hard to grasp about the fact that this is a LE doll meant for adult collectors?!? It's not for children.

I really hope this doll will be easier to get since so many people have said they don't like it.
 
I'm really happy right now. My sister snapped at me for getting her dolls, since her room won't fit anymore and I told her that the last one would have to be good. And this is going to be the last one. I like the fins, it just shows the extra work that went with it. Though, I think that the one that come out in 2006 is better, if only the recycled that design... But Yeah, I'll be up pre-ordering this.

If you can, I'd say get her anyways. If it turns out you don't like it, sell it to a friend. I did that with the Merida doll and I didn't regret it, although I did end up selling it to my friend at cost.
 
It's nice to be able to see her whole tail like this. However I think the most recent leaked photos on Flickr do her more justice. I'm not a fan of promotional pictures where the colors have been altered like they have been in this one. The tail's color particularly is different in real life from the one in this photo.
