DSF/DSSH Live from Hollywood - Dogs on a train

Nothing worse than a relase with 1 or 2 great pins and 4 or 5 eh pins. Tinker Bell fairies all over again. But who wants just a random middle car? I told people, with this release, save the marquee, it's all, nothing or one. All the train, none of the train, or just the engine. Those other cars are gonna sit and make it to the racks. Hopefully there are enough dog lovers to gobble them up, not exactly kibbles & bits though.

I have to admit that the trusty car is actually my favorite of all of them. :) So you never know what people are going to like.

Looks like they are $10.95 (based on PinPics, and they didn't seem to be onsale in the store) (so it'd be $37.32 total for all 3 + $2 or 3 for shipping). I work two buildings down from the DSF, so I can run down whenever to get them. You can also take a chance and see if they throw them in a $4 bin anytime soon.. They have a whole rack (practically) of Roz and Celia from Monster's Inc, so they might need space soon. :)

I wasnt too far behind you then, I was the first one he told at the rope that the marquee sold out-aaauuggghhh!! I'll keep reminding myself I have the marquee from last year which is prettier. I'm just glad I was able to get the whole train set and they are adorable! I'm also happy the PTD changed because Timothy is too cute! I wonder if anything else sold out & if Timothy is still the PTD?

hmm well I think I will take my chances on the $4 rack. I would love some peter pan too. If they go $4. Do they let you take pics in there? I was wondering if someone could do that sometime so maybe some of us that don't live there could get pins when you guys are going so often.

Yeah I don't have any marquees of things I actually collect, but that's okay I will probably trade for it eventually.
 
I just realized something....they must have been letting each person get 2 of the marquees if they sold out so quick. I thought they did one per person for the marquees?

Ok, I thought they had started limiting the marquees to one per guest, but this one was LE 300 darnit. Sleeping in combined with traffic made me miss out on this one.

This happened to us at Mulan ): we left at 7am this morning and got there at about 9:45 and were #'s 143-145 so we literally just BARELY made it! fomg ,_, I was so worried I ran up the line and counted all of the people!

No problem, I'll try to keep an eye for the discount bins. Do they ever advertise those sales, or just toss them on the counter? If anyone sees them, please let us know! :)
Pics are allowed, I take pictures of pins on their display all the time... We should just keep a running list of what's currently in the store somewhere.

I got there around 10:45, so I consider myself lucky that I was able to get the whole train. I'm bummed that the marquee was sold out, but I have the one that came out last year and will get this one eventually. Now if I got there and the Si and Am one was sold out, I would've freaked! lol

I was hoping they would have the March flier out today, but my guess is that they'll have some Oz pins and some Easter ones. I like that they've been putting out pins with different characters lately. I know I was really surprised when I saw how many pins they had for this Lady and the Tramp release because it seems like we get the same characters-Stitch, Jessica, and Chip and Dale. I'd love to see some Bambi, Dumbo, Aristocats, and pins from other movies/characters we don't see very often this year.

I was too! My grandma loved the Train piece with the Pound dogs on it...I think because it was the biggest and had multiple characters.
 
I literally got the last 2 si and ams last night! They are out of lady and the tramp. There were many of the other dogs left at around 6:30 last night!

The train car with the Pound dogs is super cute! I love the whole set and am so glad I was able to get them all, I love how the train cars slide on the track. So Si and Am sold out too? I didn't realize there are so many Si and Am collectors out there, but that may explain why I am having such a hard time getting some of the older Si and Am pins!

So they just have Trusty, Jock, and the pound pups left? They'll probably sit now since the engine with L&T sold out. I didnt look at the other pin rack, just saw they had a TON of the Buzz Lightyear with the Woody gold statue and the Peter Pan vault ones on the counter. Did you notice if the PTD was still Timothy last night?
