DSF/DSSH Live from Hollywood - Easter Eggs
wish i could be there <3 have fun everyone, warm thoughts to you all!!!(count your lucky stars, its snowing here in england)

Awesome!... So people don't sneak into line while others sleep? That's my biggest fear. I love camping though so it looks like fun! Ill be there in a few weeks!

It's really hard to get more than cat naps and in line people are always milling about, so we keep an eye on things as best as we can. DSF has posted and security has made it very clear that if someone is caught letting someone sneak into line, the entire group will be ejected.

They belong to DSF and were mainly put up for the Oz general admission ticket holders waiting to get into the theatre (which has 1000 seats) - which is one of the reasons DSF requested that we don't line up until the 7:45pm movie goers had been let into the theatre. DSF will probably have them up for most of the summer too - to help movie patrons from getting too hot waiting in line during the day and we will also benefit from their generosity. DSF really does go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed during pin releases - access to an employee bathroom during the night, free hot chocolate and coffee in the morning and sometimes even free ice cream bars during the summer. I don't think you can name very many places that treat their customers with such kindnesses.

And just to describe where we are camped out - this is not an alleyway, it is a concrete sidewalk that runs along the east side of the El Capitan Theatre building and connects the outdoor parking lots to the east and south of the building to Hollywood Blvd. It is clean (no trash or critters) and maintained. One of the employee entrances is accessed from this sidewalk. There are a couple of outdoor power outlets that we use to recharge our phones, benches to sit on and trash receptacles. The sidewalk is used to move equipment to the Jimmy Kimmel studios (on the opposite side of the theatre) and has an entrance that suppliers can use to deliver their goods to DSF. It is right across from the Dolby Theatre (where the Academy Awards show takes place) and is one of the safer places around this area. Hollywood High school is across the street to the south.
