Actually we all don't know who ruined it. Not everybody here is a local. For instance I live in Seattle. But I do not want this thread to be a blame thread. I just wanted to pass along the information I have received from Disneyland.
 
I will say that I've only traded with cast members. The few times I tried to trade at the tables (the Westward Ho tables at DLR) the people were very rude and tried to get way more out of me than necessary. I don't know who they were. One guy was very friendly with a girl cast member and would look over her shoulder as people were trading at the cast books at the barrels and he'd nudge her when a guest would trade a pin he wanted and she'd slide the pin to him and he'd slide her a pin to put in the book. That infuriated me! Anyway, I'm sorry everyone is upset. I was very leery about trading at the tables after a lot of the things I saw going on. A few bad apples...
 
:sad::sad: I am still ready to help set up some evens if people would like? I can also make shirts for any and all events that may be going on.
 
Could we move to trading at DCA? the area near Monsters Inc is always empty. Maybe moving to a different area would help.

The problem with taking over an area that is not official is nobody seems to know where to go. We set up at the Mexican restaurant and we had lots of people say "oh is this where we set up now?" If people don't know where to set up they don't bring their pins. Bad cycle here.
 
I am smack dab in the middle of the state. Many people from up north stop here in Bakersfield before going the rest of the way to the parks. We are about 1.5-2 hours north of DLR. Real easy to get here from north or south. I-5 and the 99 both come to this town. Oh and I used to be a show promoter, so I can get us anything we like. I even have friends that own shops. 2 of them have nice pizza shops that are pretty close to our house. Oh as I said before there is a park across the street from our house also. So if its a nice warm day we could do a outside party. Just let me know what you think and we will work something out.
