Lost pin :(
I am the saddest fox right now. I can't find my Alice PTD ANYWHERE.
It was on my desk along with a group of other Alice pins waiting to be put on my Alice board. Now it's gone. I don't know if I took it to work or was showing it to someone and left it somewhere else or what, but I don't know why I would have done that. I'm terribly afraid it got swept off the desk in the last mad wave of costume crafting and rehearsing that accompanied Norwescon, and is now either in a trash bin (although we searched through them) or buried under some stuff or kicked around...
With the way my memory has been lately, I'm also paranoid that I actually traded it and don't remember doing so. But that's why I keep a spreadsheet of trades, so I don't see how I could have forgotten something like that...
We don't have pets and nobody else in the house cares about pins (other than to humor me when I'm yammering about them) and my girlfriend helped me look EVERYWHERE but no luck. My last hope is that I took it to work for some unknown reason and it's still there.
(I just bought a second one from a DPF member here in their sale, but I was going to keep one and use one as a trader. So the worst thing that happens is I don't have a trader one. But it's still irksome to have lost something I valued highly!)
Anyway, I just wanted to vent at y'all, and hope that maybe if some pixie dust comes my way, I'll be lucky and it'll turn up again. *sigh*
