Mary Poppins Penguins pin LE350

So the new UK pin is up... it's the penguin waiters from Mary Poppins!

I like it, though was surprised when I saw they were releasing a Mary Poppins pin. I was expecting a Tinkerbell as it seems a while since she made her last appearance on a UK pin. I'll definitely be getting one for my collection though.

I know, right? Mary Poppins has been long forgotten on pins for a long time LOL... yes, it's been a while for Tink! Just a guess, but maybe this pin was for the Jubilee... it's loosely linked I guess, with Mary Poppins being British. I was guessing they'd release a pin more related to the Jubilee, but I guess not... it is a cute pin though! I do like it, but I don't collect MP, hence why I have 2 for trades if anyone wants them.

I was expecting a jubilee pin also, and if they still did the core pins/limited edition in stores I think they probably would have done one as the Minnie dressed as the Queen as they have on the plush toy. I'm hoping for a Hercules, to tie in with the Olympics.

Yes, it is strange how they didn't do one... my thoughts exactly! The Minnie pin would have been nice to see... I have the mug with her on it. It would have been a cute pin!!! Oh yes, that would be very fitting for the Olympics! (p.s. have you seen the 15th Anniversary Hercules pin? )

Just seen the new pin and totally LOVE it!!! Those penguins are so awesome! And I watched the film literally yesterday! They're selling it off (and Bedknobs and Broomsticks too) at DS for £3.99 instore atm.

Saw those jubilee teddies too, do you think they'll have reduced them now? I wanted a Beefeater Donald but its seemed more sensible to wait and see if they reduced them first

Not sure if they will release another Hercules pin as they released the Hercules & Zeus in Feb/March time, but could be possible.
