I didn't get one :( How fast did that sell out?! I had only added it to my bag when I was told it was gone.
 
Another UK DS disaster to add to the list, I put them in my bag, went to checkout and they were taken out as no longer available and I was quick so what is going on !
 
Well I had mine ready to checkout on the train but my bf at home said not to get them he would. Guess what. Now none of us did

Hmmm wanted 1 but for the first time ever on a UK release I failed :( those of you that got one, if you reckon it 'sold out' before it went live then how did you get it? A link pretty mean not to share it if so :/ and btw as I keep having to tell people every single release until it actually says sold out it isn't, almost every time a UK LE release happens, dolls or pins, I've got it when it's taken it out of my bag 100 times.
 
If an item on the store gets sold out, the site has to be refreshed in order to actually say "sold out". I believe it takes a few minutes before that update happens so people who add something to their basket can still do that, but you can't buy it anymore. That's why they take it out of your bag when you want to check out.

I don't really like that idea. As I live in the Netherlands and we don't have a local Disney store. (same for Belgium)
if they sell in store. My chance of getting any pins would be much lower.

It wouldn't be a bad idea if they had a lot more disney stores. But opening an extra 100 stores in europe isn't going to happen.

Belgium had a store but they closed it down, ugh. I'm still sad about it haha, and it didn't really have losses or something so I'm not sure why they did it. Some say the rent was too high but bleh, Disney can easily afford that.

I can't really imagine a pin release like this in stores. It'll be crazy, probably.

Yeah thats not gonna happen, we're closing a lot of UK stores at the moment. Luckily (as far as I know) my store is safe for the time being

Pin releases in store used to be a lot of fun! But it does cause a lot of upset when people line up for the pin and the store only has like 10 pins to sell.

I'd hope it wouldnt be exclusiely instore only, as that would be me pretty much out of trading if so.....theres no disneystore anywhere near me in the highlands....

maybe its easier for them to monitor stock when its all coming from online sales?? I dont know....Im just thankful i got my sets this morning, just hope i get a blast off email! :) Glad you got your Charlie, and everyone else who got xx
 
Kind of dislike the fact that you can't get express shipping if you don't deliver to a UK address. It takes more than a week for DS items to arrive here.
