If you look at the descriptions for both of those listings they both mention that they are pre-sales. The only listing that doesn't mention it being a pre-sale is the one from Hong Kong, which can be found by searching for "2013 Mothers Day pin".
I exchanged a pm with Ozzie. It became clear to me that we are talking about different sellers. Mine does not mention that it is a pre-sale. I am not sure if they are selling factory overruns. The same seller from HK has 100s of Disney pins from US Parks and then some.
This pin already sold on eBay straight from Hong Kong. Item number 111025404756. Good seller to watch for scrapper'd pins. Fantasyland stuff too. Bummer cause I have a lot of those and mine are legit. Buy scrapped pins turn people off. Like the pixar boxes, some just write them off because their scrapped.
so, the may have already been said, but this seller, from hong Kong.. Ask them for a picture of the actual pin. As the auctioneer, he is required to provide a picture of the item up for sale. He needs to give you s pic other than the stock, artist concept if you ask.
I took a really close look at this pin on the preview boards at PTN. It is a very nice little pin, and the gold knottwork is pin on pin framing. ASK for a photo. if they refuse, report them.
Thanks for the info on pre-sales. I still think it is both greedy & foolish to put a QUANTITY of FUTURE pins a seller will have for sale once released (a whole MONTH) prior to release.
you know what I presale might be my only way of getting at a decent price. I am sure wants it comes out it will be more on evilbay. I have asked and asked on here and no is offering to help me out. So I may just do the presale and hope they can actually get it. It sucks living far away.
I just want to know how this seller from HK has so many WDW, DLR and even DLP pins, and he has lanyard pins that I don't even have and I live 5 min. from WDW. That worries me.I can understand if he was selling alot of HK pins but from WDW and DLR, that smells fishy to me,but I've got to say he has good prices, just saying LOL !
