Hey Everyone!
It looks like I am going to be able to go to the September Event over in WDW! I can't believe I'm going, but somehow it's working out. :)

Anyway, I wanted to put a thread out there to see if anyone was interested in sponsoring my beautiful wife-to-be. She would love to join me, but we just don't have the funds to send both of us to the event. So if anyone would love to sponsor her let me know. You would have full access to all the pins, gifts, etc. You could even send us pins to trade on the boards if you wanted us to. :)

Just let me know if we can work something out. She would love to go and I would love having her there!

Thank you everyone for considering!

Austin

Easiest way to explain sponsoring is that you are paying for someone else to attend the event in your place.

You work it out the details with the person you are sponsoring.

Most of the time the Sponsor would pay the event fees and pay for all of the pins they want. Its basically for people who cant attend the event themselves but want the merchandise and gifts that come with attending.

Sometimes the attendee and the sposor will split the cost if they both want access to the RSP or gifts.

But again details to be worked out between the two parties.

Thanks for explaining that Crystal! :)

yeh thanks---so basically i already paid to go to mickeys circus. I put in my "wish list" of pins so i cant really help anyone at this point except to buy pins that are for sale or something.

You have until July 29th to change your RSP, so if someone wanted to help sponsor you they still could. They could reimburse you for what you already spent (or partially reimburse you) and take over the RSP or you could split the RSP and registration fee. Then you and your sponsor would figure out who gets the different gwp pins. :)

Does that make sense?
