They didn't do it last year either, they need time for the vinylmation day. I didn't care for public day myself. I like to go for the pin boards, and it seemed like the boards weren't as good on public day in the past.
Yeah, the Vinyl day last year was until 2pm and then it was Public Day for the pins. This year, they eliminated the Public Day and just made the Vinyl event an all day thing.
I never liked the public day . They took all the good pins off the trading board . Plus paying the price for these events, it shouldn't be free . You have Thursday night 7 to 10 .
i believe at Coronado springs where packet pickup is. Then there is a PTN that night there as well? somebody verify. There is also a PTN hosted by CJPT at the Port new orleans Riverside on Friday 7pm
Dawney is correct PTN Is 7 - 10 at Coronado . My apologies I did not know pre registration was open to the public as well .
Not doing NJ meet at Riverside, will be pin burned out . Besides Jim wants a break from pins and just us evening .
I think I read somewhwere that pin trading on registration day is only open to registered event participants. The PTN that night is, of course, open to the public.
The lack of public day, and essentially only two days of official pin trading, is among the reasons why I wont be going this year. And while the PTN is open to the public, it simple another example of the disregard that Disney has shown to this hobby its participants.
Good point, Jabberwocky
We should not show disinterest if we want the events to continue
BUT we do need to provide some feedback- both positive & negative to Event Services to show our likes & dislikes
