Ok, so I'm pooped, but wanted to let you know we had another outstanding day at DTD in WDW today. They told us they had a special surprise for us. They brought out little mermaid PODM pins and allowed us to each buy one. They also let us buy two more of each Lin king PODM.
great time, met some really cool New people and saw some familiar faces.
had a magical but very exhausting last couple of days. Slept 6 hours out of 48 hours.

The thing you need to take into account is that WDW's pin allotment of PODM pins is (estimated) at about 3:1 for DLR's PODM pins. To put that into numbers, of the 2,000 pins, WDW gets 1,500 and DLR gets 500 - which is why these pins sell out so quickly at DLR and last a bit longer at WDW (and why cast members can 'find' a few extra bags at the World).

If DLR took a few tips from WDW and held back on pins to 'find' later, the pin releases at DLR would be crazier than they already are and pins would sell out earlier than they already do. (And a 2.5 hour resort-wide sell out isn't quick enough for you?)

I got one of Ariel with sebastian. Its not one of. Y favorites since Sebastian is so small, but this one is the best of with him I have see. They only gave me two scenes to chose from and only got to buy one.
I would have had my daughter buy one but we were both broke.
This was the most expensive release by far.
i agree with dance cats in that they can't do everything pin trades store mgrs did, such as holding back pins, but all other stores at WDW and DLR should learn from the way this manager handled this release. I have often felt as an inconvenience that they have to put up with, because of the crowds we are, this manager handled things in a way that made me feel, like he truly valued our patronage and came up with ways to improve service to us and, make it easier for them to meet our needs. So in that sense yes, they can all learn from DTD Pin Traders Store.

Yes, I may be trading that scene, as I already have one for my collection. But give me a day to recover from my two day exhausting expedition. Lol, I'm so tired still.

Since they still have more Lion King pins at WDW would anyone be willing to buy me one?? I would prefer a baby simba. Let me know. Thank you so much!
