Thanks to docfish2u I was able to buy my grail, so thank you doc! You've been so nice and such a great help!

This pin has been my #1 ever since I started collecting pins. Of course there's still Elsa Stained Glass and Art of Ariel, but this pin has always been a bit more special to me. However, it has been such a pain to get. And it's still not perfect. You can't see it that clearly on this photo, but there's a discolouration on Alice's skirt. In real life, it's very noticeable. I've received this pin damaged before so I wasn't that amused when I saw a flaw again with this second one. I didn't know about it and it's always a bummer when your grail isn't perfect.

But despite my hate for damaged or faulty pins, I've decided to keep it. Many people said I should return it and not settle with it, but I realised I still really love the pin. I can keep this one. It's stlll a goal to find a perfect one, though. I'm not finished with this bloody grail yet. But for now, this one will do, because it's still a very nice pin. And despite the disappointment when I opened the package, I'm still very happy someone helped me get a grail (someone that doesn't even know me that well). I'm hoping I can do the same for someone else too, once.

It's also a great addition to my "Stitch dressed as…" collection. It completes my "holy quartet" (aka my absolute favourite Stitch in costume pins). It's a big adventure, Stitch in costume! But I love it. The Star Wars pins are partially my bf's. He collects Star Wars and Treasure Planet. At least, that's what I tell him and he just agrees with it.

If it was a seller on eBay, I would still ask for a partial refund because of the flaw. It's a beautiful pin though. Congrats on getting it!! I'll keep my eye out for another one for you!

It's from a DPF seller. Not sure whether I should ask for a partial refund or not. I wouldn't even know how much, I'm not that good in these kind of things lol.

But thanks so much, that's so nice! :D

Thanks! :D I really love it, I started out collecting Stitch in general but I really wanted a theme, so I went for "as other characters". It's so much fun to find them! And I was surprised by how many there are.

And nope, nothing was said about the flaw. I even remember asking whether the pin had any.

Whether or not you asked about flaws, the seller should have stated such. It could be an honest mistake, I'd pm them and politely let them know, and ask for a partial refund. Hopefully you can both come to a number you're both comfortable with!

My thoughts exactly. And you're right, it could be a mistake. I'm not mad or something, just a bit disappointed lol. Such a double feeling haha. But thanks for the advice!

I understand how you feel about the fault. When you want something so badly that's really hard to find, it's upsetting to have a complaint about it after you finally get it. I'm also extremely anxiety-prone in social situations and try to avoid conflict. Reminds me of when I got a "new in box" toy set for one of my collections, and I could really tell that it had been opened and taped back up - it was so hard to get, I really didn't want to send it back, but I also hate asking for compensation. So I kept it, since the figures themselves were all in pretty good shape, and the most important one was flawless, but it kind of bothers me still that it wasn't as perfect as stated in the description. Too expensive and hard to find a perfect one, though.

Anyway, that is a really cute pin! I like your collection!

It's neat to see Stitch in all of those costumes! Hehe!

Thank you everyone! :D

Wow yes, I have the same issue. I never want to create a whole discussion with a seller or trader, I mean, it's so exhausting. I will always speak my mind, though, but most people get offended and mistake my honesty for rudeness. I'm glad the most important figure was perfect, but I know what you mean. You still know there's something wrong with it and it just stays with you, doesn't it?

And thanks so much! :D I really like my collection too haha, it's such a fun subject and they're so fun to look after. They're also a bit easier to find than Tangled lol, so it's a breath of fresh air once in a while.

Wow! You have some great Stitch pins on that page alone! The Dreamfinder Stitch and the Alice and Stitch as Cheshire are big wants of mine. Big congrats on getting both of them! I totally understand about being less than thrilled about faulty pins. But they happen. And you never know, at some point in the future you could find yourself with a practically perfect in every way new Stitch as Cheshire pin…and then you'll have two!!!! (in which case, I would immediately offer up myself as the new caretaker of one of them, haha!)
