My Achilles heel… (and a look into my Stitch collection)
If it was a seller on eBay, I would still ask for a partial refund because of the flaw. It's a beautiful pin though. Congrats on getting it!! I'll keep my eye out for another one for you!
Thanks! That's how I think about it too, still a lovely pin.Well, congratulations on getting the pin! Even if it's not perfect, you have it.
Oh thanks for telling, I already have one though. When you perches an art of Ariel be really careful. Her tail has a lot of flaws in it sometimes.
Whether or not you asked about flaws, the seller should have stated such. It could be an honest mistake, I'd pm them and politely let them know, and ask for a partial refund. Hopefully you can both come to a number you're both comfortable with!
I understand how you feel about the fault. When you want something so badly that's really hard to find, it's upsetting to have a complaint about it after you finally get it. I'm also extremely anxiety-prone in social situations and try to avoid conflict. Reminds me of when I got a "new in box" toy set for one of my collections, and I could really tell that it had been opened and taped back up - it was so hard to get, I really didn't want to send it back, but I also hate asking for compensation. So I kept it, since the figures themselves were all in pretty good shape, and the most important one was flawless, but it kind of bothers me still that it wasn't as perfect as stated in the description. Too expensive and hard to find a perfect one, though.
Anyway, that is a really cute pin! I like your collection!
It's neat to see Stitch in all of those costumes! Hehe!
Thanks so much! I really love them all.Wow! You have some great Stitch pins on that page alone! The Dreamfinder Stitch and the Alice and Stitch as Cheshire are big wants of mine. Big congrats on getting both of them! I totally understand about being less than thrilled about faulty pins. But they happen. And you never know, at some point in the future you could find yourself with a practically perfect in every way new Stitch as Cheshire pin…and then you'll have two!!!! (in which case, I would immediately offer up myself as the new caretaker of one of them, haha!)
