bring $40 extra in the off chance it sells out you can go buy an extra 1-day entry into the park at guest services with your blacked out pass.
Downtown Disney will be insanely busy as most are blocked out. DTD gets 400 pins, LGM gets 400 pins, and Fly'n'Buy gets 200 pins. Just know that I am 100% positive that the DTD line will "sell out" of wristbands first and will be the longest line of them all, I venture to guess back of the line will be ~4 hours. If I were banking on DTD, I'd get there extra early and bring $40 extra in the off chance it sells out you can go buy an extra 1-day entry into the park at guest services with your blacked out pass.
You obviously haven't tried to buy a blockout day ticket recentlyBlockout Day tickets are currently $70
Blockout Day tickets are available for purchase and are valid on a day that your Annual Passport is blocked out but you wish to visit Disneyland Resort. Blockout Day tickets are Park Hopper tickets and are $70 each (prices subject to change without notice).
Oh my god I can't afford the block out day ticket!
Do you think I should get there around 3 or 4 am?
Okay, so I know that I've been told before that when you get your wristband you choose what location you want to buy in. For all the locations do we line up at DTD or for the parks line up near the gates?
So for the other locations you get the wristband AT the location right? haha I'm new to the wristband thing
No, everyone lines up at Downtown Disney near the Rainforest Cafe and then at 7:00 AM when they give out the wristbands, they go down the line from 1 to like a million (we don't know how many wristbands they have). As they go down the line they ask you, "DTD, Little Green Men or Fly'N'Buy?" and you answer your choice and they give you the wristband for that store. (If you choose the LGM/Fly'n'Buy then once you get your wristband you can leave the line and go line up at your store). If you choose DTD then you stay in line and they'll escort you there. If they run out of one store (we've seen that) then you choose with the ones that are left.
Probably 2? I don't know what time I will be there but I know that I'm leaving sis at the end of the line while I go to the front to start counting people (if it looks like a large crowd)
Pin Traders should start at 8 but their line is the slowest because they only let one person go up at a time. I would estimate maybe add 2 minutes for every person in front of you so if there's 30 people before you expect to wait a hour or so in line. Fly N Buy opens at 7 but only early entry people get in from 7-8. Since Disneyland is not doing early entry that day, expect all the early entry people to go here. They have 2 registers although, depending on their staffing, they may only have one register when they first open. What I like about Fly N Buy is that it is a short walk and with most tourists heading straight for Cars Land, it isn't as hectic as Tomorrowland. That said, Little Green Men is probably the best bet for those that want to get in and out quickly since they have the most registers.ohkay so on the website it said that wristband distribution will begin at 7a.m but does anyone know what time they will start selling them? i'd like to know because i work that day so hopefully there will be time to make it there and back..
So, among the prospective customers, what time will you guys be lining up?
