Dear DPF Members,

After a six months off pin trading, I've realized what a menace it made me. I would like to formally apologize to you and all of DPF for my actions. I wish you all could forgive me for my terrible actions. I feel awful. I would like to get back into pin trading if the site will let me. I will no longer buy and sell. Only trade. Once again, I'm very sorry for my actions, but I miss pin trading. I would just home you could give me a clean slate. No hard feelings please.

It is always good to have old members back! Trading is what this hobby should be about (well after collecting). I hope you find your way back into DPF and enjoy pin trading once again.

Your actions will decide what the people here think about you. Your last set of actions did not go well. You have a lot to make up for.

Well said David. Everyone in this pin family deserves a second chance. It is up to you Nick with what you are going to do moving forward in this community, go back to your old habits or recreate yourself and prove to everyone that you have turned a new leaf.

meh people forgave me and gave me another chance. Dont know what YOU did but me... yeah ....good times...goooooooooooood times

My head was in the sand on this one. Not a clue what happened but I do agree that actions speak louder than words. A formal apology is always a good start.

Well, they say a leopard can't change its spots so let's hope that's not the case here. However I wouldn't advise anyone to blindly send you some high-value pin... you're going to have to send your pin(s) first and then once they've been received, that person can then send their pin(s) to you.

I am a bit in the dark about what happened too. I only caught the tail end of your last auction before you disappeared from DPF. But here is my suggestion:

If you truly want a clean slate, I think you might want to consider how to make it right with the members you wronged - not just by apologizing in one blanket post, but making an earnest effort to communicate and tie loose ends. If you owe them pins, or anything else, try to see if you can settle those debts via PMs.

Just my humble 2 cents. I hope things will work out better for you in the future.

A public apology if always a good start.. but I agree with Merryweather if you do owe pins to anyone I think it would be best if you fulfilled that before you start to trade again?

I would agree with other members on here you should put right what happened with the other members you upset and I think that because what has happened people will be wary with trading with you they may want you to send the pin first after awhile I'm sure it will be long forgotten hope this helps

In looking at your feedback score, I can only assume that you had some bad auctions. Have you completed those auctions and back in good standing with those that left you negative feedback?

I haven't been here long but have been part of different pin communities over the years and this group of people is one of the finest I have had the pleasure to join. Their genuine kind nature is obvious by giving you another chance. I am not sure if this is your second or third chance, but if what I gather you didn't follow though with some auctions in the past and are sincere about making amends here with these good people, then I don't think coming here and starting an auction right away is in such high form. Give people time to trust you again and get to know you other than through auctions. Just my 2 cents. That being said, I welcome you back and hope you take to heart what has been written here by others and follow through to the people that might have been wronged in the past.
