I've recently returned from 3 months in Florida, because my Mom's been having health issues. While I was down there, I stumbled upon a piece of blue satin fabric, and that got an idea started. I wanted to do something special with the Frozen pins and not just another frame or corkboard. I don't have a lot of room, but these while they are longer (about 2.5 feet) they aren't that wide, so they fit on smaller walls. I can't sew, but my Mom can and it was good distraction for her, so she made me 2 of these banners modeled after Scandinavian bell pulls. One is filling up nicely, and the other one is in reserve if I need it. I'm undecided if I want to remove the Starter Lanyard set from its packaging, and I have the DLP booster set coming.

The white dowel is just a placeholder. I'm going to get these and paint them.

And here it is with pins.

Hope you find them inspiring.

Thanks everyone! I love how it turned out too. As for acquiring the pins, I have a family member that is able to order the WDI pins for me. WDI will be the only low LE pins I can get at cost. Otherwise, the only LE ones I have are the Opening Day, which my Dad picked up on release day, the DSSH Olaf (which I paid a pretty penny for). The shareholder, Movie Club and AMC pin are limited, but unknown size and much higher sizes, that stalking Ebay turned eventually turned up a price I was comfortable with. Otherwise, it's just the OE pins.

I try to focus on what I CAN get, and ignore that the rest even exist. So right now, my "try to find" list is the DLP Dreams Olaf, the nesting dolls and the shoes (which I'll pick up when we go back to WDW next month). Someday, I think the PTN pins and some of the DSSH stuff will come down (like Olaf summer, Back to School). Olaf, Kristoff and Sven are my primary concerns, not the sisters, so I don't need to go into a big panic every time a pretty Elsa came out. Even if they weren't going for so much money, they'd be down my list of wants. I would like a marquee eventually though.

So beautiful, Hope! Maybe I will do the same with my Frozen pins, because it looks so pretty! About the Olaf Dreams DLP pin I am going to DLP on Saturday and willing to buy one for you :)

Oh, that would be wonderful if you are able to get one. I pay quickly!

That fabric is just so amazingly suited to Frozen pins and your collection looks wonderful on it :)
Wsh you the best of luck with filling it up - those Olaf pins are just great, he's adorable!

What a great idea! As soon as I saw it I knew what it was. We always seemed to have a few hanging around the house growing up. I haven't seen one in years and it's perfect for the frozen background. Best of luck filling them both up.
