Need help from French pin folks

I sent a rather high value package to France, using USPS 1st class international mail. My post office says it left U.S. it has a customs number USPS uses to track it within U.S. is it possible to use that to ask French post if it was delivered? Is there a number, maybe with someone friendly with English I can call?

I mailed on 11/29 in Los Angeles, it left U.S. on 11/30. The person says it never arrived.

How long do I wait? 2-3 months is like the worst I've heard. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt though.

I had one 2 years ago , I mailed on Nov 7th and came back to me on april 13th Lost in the french post office , My paris trader told me it happens alot around the holidays. so we don't ship to each other from nov 15 th to Jan 2nd.
Hope you find the pins.

Twice packages from me to two different DLP-ers (one in France and one in Belgium), were detained by Customs over there for more than a couple of weeks each time. It's been a while, but I believe transit time in both cases ended up being at least 6 weeks.

Hopefully this is just what happened to your package.

Hi! I posted a package from the UK to France on the 29th of November too! And mine never turned up either and then on Friday I got the package I sent returned to me by the French post office!! So I think something must have messed up within the French postal system around that time, it might have happened to your item too
