Need Some Advice

I need everyone's advice.

So I have been babysitting evil-bay all day long to try and catch a cheaper BaTB for cheaper than $100. Someone posted that they were on line at DLR and would be able to get 10 pins and had them as buy it now. They said it would be first come first serve to pick out a scene. I was #5 so I would have 6 scenes to choose from and I had great odds to try and get one with Belle and Beast. I went and bought a pin. I check back on my purchase history and see that the seller revised the listing. I look at the listing and it says that they are getting 7 pins which means that I will only have 3 pins to choose from (not good odds to get belle and beast). So now I am furious.

My question is should I message them now and say I don't like my odds and want a refund or do I wait and see what pins they offer me?

You should wait because what happened is called life it happened to me also I can't go now because my phone broke and they don't have replacements so i had to make a choice between the 2. I decided to upgrade to the s3 tommorow on Black Friday.

I hope you don't take thus the wrong way, but I'm not sure how that really pertains to what the original poster was asking. Sorry to hear about your phone and hope you get an awesome upgrade tho!!


As to the original problem, that does stink that your odds have lessened and I don't see why it would be wrong of you to ask the seller for a refund. Is it absolutely necessary to you to have a scene with Belle and beast tho? If you receive a refund will you be willing to pay more for that sort of scene? Or would you be willing to wait out and see if the hype lessens at all? I would weigh all those factors before asking for a refund.

I was saying that life happened and that things change and that you need to deal with change just not walk away from it because the phone was a last minute thing.

They might have changed it because there's already people lining up so probably harder chance of actually getting 10 podms. I also heard that Disney might make it so that you just have to accept what they pass out instead of being able to choose what you want from like 4 frames? This haven't been confirmed though.

I agree with Story that maybe you might want to wait for the scenes before thinking about getting a refund since right now you can't really get a scene without overpaying. But then again, if you're sure that there won't be any scenes with Belle in it then go for it since there might be some people who's going tomorrow that won't list them for $100+ tomorrow. But there's always a chance that the prices will just stay that high...

The listing didn't guarantee what you got, did it? Only that they'd try to get what they could? When I went to LGM, all I was shown was 5 Beast scenes, 2 of which were identical! AGH! Fortunately, I was able to trade/exchange them (get in line AGAIN!) for something with Belle, but still....

So, you could see if the seller would cancel it, or just not pay for it.
