While what I like to call "secondary merchandising" pins go to many places (gas stations, gift shops, and Wal-Marts, usually close to Disney), the Target pins are different.
According to an old Dizpins thread, one in which a Target rep used to reply to, the Target pins are exclusive to Target only. That's why Target is usually in the title of their Pinpics names, where all the other pins are just have "Jerry Leigh" or whatever their description might be. The only two Target locations ANYWHERE that carry Disney pins are Millenia and...shoot, I think 192...both in Orlando.
Now, this might have changed over time. I just figured I'd share what I remembered of this thread. If any knows for sure of a different Target that sells pins now (Anaheim?), or if they've changed to selling the regular Jerry Leigh pins, please let us know!
Regardless, for your Rapunzel pin, they should be at the other locations, anywhere near a Park, so it's not so much of an issue. I just didn't want everybody rushing out to their local Target expecting something, then getting disappointed.
I wish I lived closer to the parks! Thanks for the info! I had searched google for Jerry Leigh and had turned up with nothing that really helped me determine where the pins were released/what they were exactly
