This pin is going to look just like the frozen el capitan ticket. Only it will have a meleficent design. I personally can't wait until the marquee is released!!!

Have you seen the pin?

I don't think anyone has seen the pin, if they did it'd be all over here However, I think it's probably a smart guess to assume it would look like all ticket pins since all ticket pins look the same (with the promotional art on the inside) and they make a nice set ^_^ If you're into that set...

I wonder if it will look something like this... :anxious:

This would be an awesome pin!

I just don't know if Angelina Jolie allowed the use of her likeness for merchandise. From the few figures and dolls I have seen as prototypes it doesn't look like her. This will dictate how the pin designs will be as compared to the POTC and Oz pins were the actors signed off of use of their likeness.

Nevertheless I am excited for the pins.

It'd be pretty hard to not use her likeness. They got away with it with Enchanted because Amy Adams had a cartoon version. Although Maleficent is from Sleeping Beauty, this particular movie doesn't have anything to do with the artwork from the separate cartoon version. Although the things might not look exactly like her, they'd still use her as the base.

I'm guessing the pin will use the version of Maleficent with the wings. They seem to be loving that shot.

It's pretty standard contracting that once a person signs in to play a character in a Disney movie that their likeness will be used in all aspects of merchandising. Disney is the one studio that mass markets every single possible thing tied in with its movies and this one is set to be one of the biggest ever because of the multi generation pull. I would love to see a ticket pin with the pic shown above....but a ticket pin period would make me happy because I think they are super cute!!

I agree, that would be an awesome pin!

Got my tickets in the mail today! Still no idea what the pin is but one step closer to getting it!
